I always have utmost respect for few Kings in Nigeria one of them is the Oba of Benin. He is a true King another one is the Olu of Warri even his late father. They mind their businesses, respect the throne that they occupy. You don't see them just anywhere. I always thought the Oba of Benin has one wife. Those Queens also know their places and again you don't see them just anywhere or outside in public unless it's absolutely necessary. Same applies to their children.

I want to let d world know one of d secrete that has keep Benin kingdom strong and fame. the king will not see his first son face to face while he still on the throne, they can talk like father and son on d phone but they will never set their eyes on each other, I mean they will be like total stranger to each other, they can only recognize each other true voice call no video calls and secondly the first son most be taken far away from benin kingdom

sorry to say this. very unhealthy for five women to marry a man. we are possessive by nature. The jealousy among them especially the second wife will be 200%. If the first wife is older and had enjoyed the Oba when they were younger, her jealousy may be mild. Haba I rather remain single than to share a man.

Try to know Benin history. Benin Kingdom is linked to more than 32 tribes who are Benin by origins, So how can them marry only Edo(Benin)? There is no jealousy at all, Everyone knows Oba of Benin must marry more than 3 wives. Every Oba Benin must take wives from other tribes who are also Benin by origins. That is why their mothers have Been Urhobo, Esan etc but the current Oba's mother is from Oza tribe in Delta state. Whoever gives birth to the heir!

Face your front boy😎 I've been seeing your comments left and right, I think the headache you're having is that you don't just want to see where they praise the BENIN ROYAL HOUSEHOLD that all.. Even a man with one wife do have a problem with his wife the important thing is that, the issues doesn't escalate out of hand to the extent of coming to the public space. Try to know Benin history. Benin Kingdom is linked to more than 32 tribes who are Benin by origins, So how can them marry only Edo(Benin)? There is no jealousy at all, Everyone knows Oba of Benin must marry more than 3 wives. Every Oba Benin must take wives from other tribes who are also Benin by origins. That is why their mothers have Been Urhobo, Esan etc but the current Oba's mother is from Oza tribe in Delta state. Whoever gives birth to the heir!

Benin people are not Yoruba. They are Bini. I understand Yoruba very well and i also understand Bini even more, and a Yoruba person cannot understand what the language of the Bini people. They are different
