I don't understand. Our deficit dropped 37% in 2013, and is now literally lower than when president Obama was first elected (which is amazing considering we weren't paying for two wars). Our gas prices have dropped from $4 to $2 precisely due to the reasons that President Obama suggested in this debate, and they're estimated to drop to $1.50 in the next 6 months. Our unemployment rate has dropped from an annual 9% in 2009 to an annual 6% in 2014, and is dropping at a rate quicker than this century has ever previously seen. Barack Obama has fulfilled his promises for his election, and has shown that the Affordable Health Care Act has been phenomenally successful to those lower and middle class Americans who could never receive healthcare due to the corporations who ignored them because there was no competition. Barack Obama came into this country when it was on the brink of depression, and has taken us away from the grips of depression. Romney honestly tried to play the mistakes of the Bush administration and past onto President Obama when he literally stepped into a failing country? The facts show that President Obama has done well for our country. I don't see how it's feasible to blame him for past mistakes, or to suggest that he hasn't done his job.

Jack Nelson "American Supremacy". Do you mean our empire? The one that makes us more powerful than every nation ever could be 10x over? We could cut our military budget in half and still be the most powerful country in the world, easily above Russia and China combined. We don't need to be supreme. We need to be relevant so that the world may borrow our techniques. The United States has an amazing government (albeit not perfect) and if we can be the most successful country in the world, then people are sure to replicate us. And of course the debt is high. If you actually somehow thought that our debt would go down during President Obama's administration, you're quite simply delusional. The deficit is the problem. The debt comes after.

***** If you're taking him as a "good example," you may want to find another "example." Your grammar is absolutely appalling, which is down right amusing since you're attempting to educate me on my usage of words and the English language, when you yourself, barely know how to form a complete sentence. Your usage of a comma is incorrect, so you may want to use Google for that one as well. You're literally sitting here telling that I should dumb myself down, that way other people who are on that level of "dumb" can understand me. If you're so threatened by my way of speaking, perhaps educate yourself, 'cause everyone knows what the word "bias" means. You bumbling fool.

+FunPheonix97 I think I kind of understand what you mean. Whenever I listen to Romney speak (especially about coal, oil, not removing God from the dollar bill, being a "severe conservative," etc.), he sounds like someone who panders almost shamelessly to the electorate in order to get elected. I know that all politicians, Obama included, pander to electorates. But most politicians, such as Obama and even McCain, sound more authentic. Romney is different though, because he has no scruples about overtly making lots of far-right statements when he needs the support of voters in the GOP primary and then sounding like a centrist when he needs to win the general election. As a result, one seriously wonders what Romney's beliefs are. I get the same reaction to Ted Cruz, who seems to make no secret of the fact that he is pandering to the social conservatives in the Republican party.

@jonathanruano4973
@jonathanruano4973 8 жыл бұрын
Look guys, there was a plan to establish a peaceful "new world order." It originated with Woodrow Wilson and was revived by FDR. But TJ J, your characterization of the NWO is largely incorrect. Sorry for saying this dude. The NWO was basically a plan to preserve western civilization. The western powers controlled these massive colonial empires in the 1940s, but they weren't sure if they could hang on. The USA was concerned about this too, because it assumed that if colonial peoples obtained their independence, the result would be chaos. So part of the NWO plan was to preserve colonial empires until colonial peoples were deemed ready for self-government. Another part was to back dictatorships and guide the political maturation of non-western peoples. And all this was done to protect the national security interests of the United States, prepare the rest of humanity for democracy in the unforeseeable future, and usher in a global economic order based upon free trade. So nothing sexy like a secret committee of elites running the world.
@jonathanruano4973

We still have no idea what is in her emails, or why she deleted classified information, which is a felony by the way. And what makes you think Russia is pulling strings? Donald Trump made a very obvious joke about Russia, and the emails, and apparently, some people were too stupid to understand it. The fact is, Trump has nothing to do with Russia. Then we have Debbie Watserman Shultz trying to rig the election against Bernie Sanders, which was proven through her emails, which were recently leaked. How wonder she resigned. Watch Hillary Clinton lying for 13 minutes.

The auto industry revamp saved 2.2 million jobs and created tens of thousands of additional jobs.

***** Citing the debt when Obama came into office with a $1.4t deficit disqualifies your entire argument. Secondly, the Constitution obligates the President to propose a budget, then the House Budget Committee drafts one, it goes up for a vote, is either passed or revised, and then the President has the opportunity to veto it. There are many factors that contribute to the deficit being reduced so drastically. One of those is the fact that we have had over seventy consecutive months of private sector job growth, which increases tax revenue. Doing away with some of the Bush Era tax cuts on the upper class is another. Admittedly, a good portion of it was a result of the sequester, but a majority of the reasons had to do with responsible fiscal policy that has created widespread growth in every sect of the economy.

You are wrong about gas prices. He is responsible for handing out permits to allow drilling on American soil and waters. If the POTUS does that, gas prices could go down $2 - $3 a gallons at the pump. Just take a look at Alaska.

"When you come out in 2014, I presume I'm gonna' be president. I'm gonna' make sure you get a job." Mitt Romney has such a good insight, right? He is still rich, and still could 'make sure Jeremy finds a job' , but Mitt suddenly doesn't care anymore.

Obama can't just pass things as he sees fit, the house is split by two parties and nothing can get done. I know you are not downright saying that Obama hasn't done anything, but you have to understand that every time someone says that... it is ignorant because he just simply can't with the house the way it is.

Linda Obama is a Socialist, Romney is a Progressive. About the same end result, just one is slower than the other. Romney is a RINO (Republican in name only) and Obama is a Liberal Democrat. If we don't get an actual conservative in office this time around, I'm leaving this country, 'cause it's going to get pretty dark here.

***** We're living in what one would call the "real world," mate. Obama had nothing to do with gas prices. That's Saudi Arabia not cutting production, thus making prices go down, which in turn, makes us not rely on OUR OWN energy at home. The economy is garbage, that's why these burger flippers are begging for $15 an hour, and this "Government funded scholarships" is actually coming from everyone else. Remember, nothing is free when you accept it from the Federal Government, someone is paying for it. FYI, Obama has added more debt than every president before him combine. Funniest part is, he had a Democratic Congress for a majority of the time, if I recall correctly.

This debate was a glaring example of liberal media bias. Obama blatantly lied at 1:12:00 when he claimed that the day after the Benghazi attack he stood in the Rose Garden and stated that it was an act of terror. Instead, the Obama administration claimed for nearly two weeks that the attack was a response to a KZfaq video which had offended the people who led the attack. When Romney called him out on this, the moderator, Candy Crowley, jumped to Obama's defense and started arguing with Romney! Romney eventually gave up arguing the point. This debate is part of what led Republicans to support Trump in 2016 as Republican voters were sick and tired of weak Republican candidates who allowed themselves to be pushed around by biased moderators!

No you were not my choose but I supported you, supported the Republicans choice, spent hours on the phone asking people to vote for you. Put up signs. Your speech against Trump showed how dishonest you are not how dishonest Trump is. Your speech against Trump is used in Hillary adds. For every item manufactured outside the US in China which is then EXPORTED from China from the companies who own the manufacturing facitilities and then IMPORTED into this country, the price is driven higher. American people are not willing to buy items at a higher price. Although they want to buy items which are produced in this country, they can not produce these items at a cheaper rate due to the fact that EPA guidelines, employee benefits, and wages, drives cost up

What's true is that the Republican House has continued to block the Presidents efforts to create jobs over the last 4 years. Romney says he will increase incomes but the most he might do is raise the minimum wage. Romney said he would lower taxes 20%. For many people that would be their total tax burden. It's not realistic for Romney to complain that the working poor are shiftless and then say he will eliminate their responsibility to pay taxes.

Based on these debates, it's hard to get a good idea of who to vote for. It's like they're just talking heads saying what we want to hear. I don't get any solid feeling of whether either candidate will follow through with their claims. To figure out who to vote for, I'll have to read up on their track records - what they have *actually* done in the past. Here they're mostly saying what they are going to do - how do I know they're telling the truth?

Did Romney really just say that he would punish employers who hire illegal immigrants. There already are those punishments for those employers who hire illegals. There are already safeguards in place for hiring people in this country. If he is going to do these so-called punishments on employers then he better start looking at any contractor who he hires to build anything he wants built. He also is going to have to start looking at state who hire illegals...
