In the past I've tried hooking up a Bluetooth to my Cheap chinesse model headunit. Never got it to work. So you're hooking up a USB OBDII to what, a laptop in your car where you than connect via WiFi? If not, than how are you connecting?

I tried this method with my ELM but when I try executing 010c, I get an “Unable to connect” error. Any ideas?

Reading values from the vehicle is all good, but is there also a way of teaching a new part to the car after you swapped it out? I already found error codes pointing to the fact I should replace the EGR, this part needs to be taught to the engine control unit after change , which is normally done with software. Anyone knows open source software to do that?
