Blown 5 Amp fuse on my Ford Ranger gave a dead scanner - replaced the OBD fuse and presto it worked perfectly 😌

I haven't been able to pass the smog test, I went to 5 shops on Friday and found out about the port. someone told me to check the fuse, I did it's fine, I didn't think about a prone out of place, will definitely check it this weekend. I called the Dealership (Toyota ) they wanted to charge me $195 for a diagnostic test. I paid my registration in August 2020 cannot get my sticker until I pass the computer part ( emission - get the error message cannot read the computer ). Everything else is fine. thank you so much for sharing.

I have an e60 with tons of work still needing to be done on it and having your input on what online stores to choose and which ones to stay away from would be awesome. I've personally had good deals with fcpeuro but is there more out there that are good online stores for bimmers? Thanks for all the great tips you leave out, halve the things I did on my e60 wouldn't have been done or would've taken me way longer to do without your videos 👍

So on a mini Cooper with a aftermarket radio do you recommend disconnecting the radio to see if the OBD two will read again ?

Hi, tried two different bluetooth scanners, each with 4 different apps, and tried all of that also through the 20 pin connector under the hood, elm connection is there but none of the scanners can communicate with the ecu, any ideas?

hey Nathan, I came across your video looking for ideas for a trailer deck. Then I saw you fix bmws. I recently bought 04 X3. The locks work if you push the button inside but the key fob will not talk to the car. There were two key fobs, I changed batteries in both, they still don't work. where would you look first? Also sometimes the low coolant light comes on although its not low in coolant. The temp gauge sometimes spikes over the right, the alarm goes off but the car is not hot. Finally my wife told me the radio arbitrary shuts off. Where would you start to look first for these issues? Can they all be related maybe to the bus controller? or do we need a priest?

Hi can you help me I’ve bought a fuel filter for my 2003 e60 525i I thought the fuel filter went under the car but I’ve followed fuel lines and no filter but I do have to round things under rear seats is one of them my filter does it have two filter im lost have they sold me the wrong filter or should it be underneath the car

I was beating my head against the wall on my OBD2 port that had been working not connecting to the ECU all of the sudden on my 2000 Z3. This video gave me the hint that if the engine port was not closed completely it would cause this. Sure enough, I made sure it was closed and completely screwed in, and everything started working again. Thank you!

BlueDriver OBD11 will not fit into my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. I noticed the pins are not compatible. I called company and they state it should fit. Is there an adaptable cable that I need to purchase for it to fit an older model?

i bought the ELM327 HH OBD ADVANCED BLUETOOTH V2.1 OBDII CAR DIAGNOSTIC scanner and ran it on both a 2001 buick regal & a 2001 ford expedition with incar pro app and 2 other apps. The result : unable to connect to ECU. Plugged it into a 13 chrysler 300 using the incar app pro and it read and worked fine. Im at a loss. is this elm327 not meant for older vehicles????? ive searched all over and cant find a result. any ideas would be helpful. oh and less than 3 weeks prior recieving my unit . A mechanic plugged a snap on bluetooth obd scanner on the 01 ford expedition and it worked fine. so IONO.

I need your expertise on an e38 issue. 2001 740i Sport cranks, but no start. New crankshaft position sensor, DME/EWS delete, and fuel pump energizes, fuel rail pressurizes. All fuses and relays are good. I am stumped, but can't keep throwing parts at it. Oh.....and no codes thrown. Any ideas of what to look at next?

On Armada 2014, the OBD2 port powers the adapter but it does not read anything, I can connect it to the App on my phone but I don't get any readings (Sometimes it says the OBD Reader does not support this vehicle.....etc.) , tried many other apps like KIWI OBD, Torque, DashCommand. also with more than 3 different adapters. All the Applications I tried can connect to the Adapter, but can't actually read any data from it. Anyone faced this issue before and got it fixed?

I was trying to program a key fob on my 03 Cadillac Seville and on a KZfaq Video they tell you to put a Jumper on the OBD2 plug between 4 and 8, mine didn't have an 8 so I tried 7(Im retarded for doing that), anyway the next day I realized my Trunk/Fuel door opened wasn't working and today I realized that My OBD2 waa also bad. I already checked every fuse and Relay and still nothing. Everything thing else works perfectly besides the Trunk and fuel bottons. What else can I possibly check.
