Wow those chameleons are beautiful, such vibrant colors! The iguanas remind me of the time I lived in the US Virgin Islands for a bit and there were huge iguanas everywhere. It was fun to watch them eat mangoes that fell from the trees. They will whip their tails at you and it can hurt pretty bad. The coolest was one night going for a midnight swim in the pool and a bunch of lil babies started swimming around me 🦎

Man, I'm from up in Alberta and seeing the Florida wilderness is so surreal to me. There's just like, lizards and turtles and shit going around? It's so strange to me, I've never seen anything like It, and I never will with my own eyes. Just being able to find a lizard in the woods, or a turtle in a pond is a concept I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around. I'm rural, and I live out in the woods right where the aspen parkland meets the bore forest, so wildlife is about as abundant as it could be, but even then there aren't many little critters around. Sure, we have frogs and the boreal toads, but the latter you don't see very often, and for other small things we have what? Mice, shrews, voles? Sometimes grouse or muskrats, but nothing interesting. You can just go out and see this shit if you're in somewhere like Florida, and that's crazy to me. Oh, and don't forget the fact that everything is incredibly cold and sparse for half the year, so you can't really go outside.

This guy always makes me crack up!!! I was raised in a similar animal sanctuary and this brings me joy.
