Honestly, I can see why somebody would make this kind of video request, to get comfort - but I feel like some of the characters were oddly disrespectful approaching the topic… 😦 This whole video just felt like the disorder in question wasn’t being taken seriously at all considering how quickly and easily it was to just brush it off?? Eating disorders are serious, and they are veeerrry real. I saw in the description that English isn’t your first language, so perhaps that’s why I got this impression and I really don’t mean to be rude, it’s just maybe do a lot of research with these things beforehand because they are actual things that people suffer with and they can quite literally ruin your life.

No literally I was thinking the same thing. I think it’s their genuine lack of understanding about the disorder rather than their English because in the video the disorder is literally just boiled down to just not eating anything when there’s so much more to Anorexia & eating disorders in general.

you know this is funny because i just so happen to also have that eating disorder to mostly that is how my family compared me to how skinny and pretty others are and would often force me to stop eating until they told me that i was skinny and pretty enough i often go without food for abut a whole month before they will let me eat sometimes they dont even let me have water to drink ether but its fine today is day 14 going with out food and water i feel sicke but its okay i mean i may pass out an get light headed here and there but other than that its fine its nothing to serious yet ......the last time i calld the cops they lied saying that they have tried multiple times to get me to eat then after the cops left they locked me in my room without food or water shoving a book shelf infront of my door so i cant get out so this is day 14 but its okay its not the first time this has happend

Filipino gang ~ Also I have the same question as levi Maybe people with the disorder are just picky eaters? Um I don't get how someone can live too long with the disorder but I think the disorder only happens due to trauma? Or smth....

Having anorexia and being a picky eater are two completely different things.

Have you thought abt this before you asked this, like seriously? Not wanting to eat certain food and not wanting to eat food AT ALL are 2 different things. Picky eaters still eat food, because there r foods that they can tolerate, but anorexic people do not want to eat food AT ALL bcs of their body image. And there r other eating disorders than just anorexia, there is bulimia which I struggle with, AFRID (which IS picky eating but at an EXTREME level, many autistic ppl have it bcs of sensory issues with food) binge eating disorder/BED which is basically the opposite of picky eating. Please think abt what you type before you decide to share it with the world
