Everyone I know that knew him personally, either from his uni days in UNN to his hustling days in Abuja when he was doing garden business, living in one room apartment with up to 10 other guys etc have all said he is humble. I have 2 or more friends that told me his story once the funeral story started flying. These friends aren’t even millionaires in his level but just people that happened to know him through a friend or cousin etc. Their stories were the same and these 2 people don’t even know each other. Fast forward to the video interview on BBC pidgin…. Obi’s story was exactly what these friends had told me and they told me this way before that video came out.
