The sky’s the limit for Obi Toppin. It’s no fluke that he won NCAA player of the year. Showcased his scoring arsenal. Love that mid range floater. Can knock down the 3, and he throws down alley-oop reverse jams without much effort. The league is on notice. This game was not a fluke. He deserves playing time.

His potential on defense as a shot blocker has already been shown, he just needs to stay in front of his guy more and maybe less fouls so he can play longer. As a Knicks fan at this game tonight I couldn’t stop smiling watching him ball out

We build around the wrong positions… obi and quickley should be the young core we build around, not rj. If Rj becomes great and fixes his shooting inconsistencies cool. But quickley and obi was nba ready literally from game 1.

He's a defenders worse nightmare with the way he moves around the court. He simply doesn't stay still & defenders tend to lose him when the ball is being moved around the court. Tends to have a lot of wide open shots & if a defender does get to him, he can blow right by them with his athleticism & finish at the rim. He's going to be a star for the Knicks going forward. Potential All-Star if he continues to develop.

it was a clear sign that they didn't need Julius Randle, and had a PF who would be better overall for the team.....unfortunately, the Knicks Organization blew this one, screwed him over the following year, and now he is gone.

They should definitely play small ball and start him nxt year with Quickley, Rj, Fournier, Obi, Randle. If not they just might as well trade either of them to get another star like dame or Mitchell, or good role players for extra depth

nah he aint a 3, he's too slow and he aint a 5, he's too small. He needs to play the 4 and in order to do that Randle needs to be traded. If he does play the 4 and randle plays the 5 i'm also not a fan, randle at 5 makes our rebounding pretty terrible.
