also known as recut trailers, involve collecting multiple pieces of film footage from one or multiple movies and editing them to create a new trailer. Trailer mashups are often created for a movie that does not exist now or to change the genre of an existing film. These are derivative works as defined by the United States Copyright Act 17 U.S.C. § 101, and as such, may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use.
The trailer mashups are not only a user generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an upcoming American limited series created for the streaming service Disney+, featuring the Star Wars character of the same name. Set ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith (2005), the series is written by Joby Harold and directed by Deborah Chow.
Ewan McGregor executive produces and stars as the title character, reprising his role from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Hayden Christensen also stars, reprising his role as Darth Vader. The project originated as a spin-off film to be written by Hossein Amini and directed by Stephen Daldry,kenobi, obiwan kenobi, kenobi trailer, kenobi official trailer, kenobi teaser trailer, kenobi series, kenobi series trailer, but it was reworked as a limited series by Amini following the commercial failure of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). McGregor was confirmed to be starring in August 2019, and Chow was hired to direct a month later. Production was scheduled to begin in July 2020, but the series was put on indefinite hold in January 2020 because Lucasfilm was unhappy with the series' scripts. Harold was hired to rewrite the series in April 2020, and additional castings were announced in March 2021. Filming began by May 2021 in Los Angeles, using StageCraft video wall technology, and wrapped by September. Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to be released in 2022, and will consist of six episodes. McGregor entered negotiations to star in a television series for Disney+ centered on Obi-Wan Kenobi by mid-August 2019. Later that month, at Disney's D23 event, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and McGregor officially announced that the actor would be reprising his role as Kenobi in a new series for Disney+, set eight years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005).Filming was scheduled to begin in July 2020,and scripts for the six-episode limited series had already been written by Amini at the time of the announcement. McGregor said the announcement was a relief,obiwan kenobi trailer, obiwan kenobi official trailer, Star Wars, Star Wars trailer, Star Wars Series, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, Jedi, Sith, Mandalorian, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Disney+ explaining that he had been lying about his involvement in a Kenobi spin-off for four years. A month later, Kennedy announced that Deborah Chow would direct the Kenobi series after impressing Kennedy with her work directing episodes of The Mandalorian

I am enjoying the Book of Boba Fett and Mandalorian live action series. These series got a lot of things right and better then the third sequel trilogy movies Disney did. I hope Disney puts a timeline for all the movies, shows so fans can watch the stories in order and understand the history better. It is fun to update the timeline looking as well into the video games, books, EU material beyond the canon material.

Boba Fett is literally the worst thing that has ever had the name Star Wars branded on it. Sequels at least felt like Star Wars in the cinema, Boba Fett is some kind of cosplay Power Rangers series for children

@@OVERDEAUXIS I don't agree with you on the third trilogy sequels. I think what happens is that Disney needs a better director and producer if they want to make a 4th trilogy. I give JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson, Kathleen Kennedy for being creative and risky, but I think it is hard to step up to George Lucas shoes. Personally someone who could do a lot better would be James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson, D B Weiss and the game of throne directors and the Mandalorian directors. If they were to make a 4th trilogy I personally would like to move 100 years into the future so we see how everything evolved past the third trilogy so Disney would better do their homework and try not to make the same mistakes George Lucas did with the prequels which actually were good if not as amazing as the first trilogy.

@@OVERDEAUXIS My honest opinion and to my surprise personally the best Star Wars movie Disney made was Rogue One. They hit a home run with baby Yoda or Grogu and the Mandelorian. They could do a lot to improve the franchise.

Star Wars has always had a place in my heart since I was a child seeing A New Hope in Theaters. But after the Force Awakens I pulled myself from it. Tried watching The Mandalorian, didn't even finish it. Have yet to even think of watching The Book of Bobba Fett. Really don't know maybe I need to check out Obi-Wan Series to bring me back to watching Star Wars again. Darth Vader has been my favorite character since I was a child.

I wasn’t a big fan of Episodes 7, 8, and/or 9. However I absolutely encourage you or anyone for that matter to watch both seasons of The Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett! Due to the fact that Luke Skywalker shows up at the end of season 2 to take and train Grogu! And not the Last Jedi Luke but rather it’s the Empire Strikes Back Luke! I think Jon Favreau did a bad ass job! (Considering it’s not the Man himself George Lucas that is) lol

When you have that feeling and visually seeing scenes that makes it cannon to the Star Wars Galaxy you dam well know these series of Obi wan are going to be off the hook, it's just sucks having to go through the end of the series 1, leaving the individual in mystery until next week lol hope it's a hour long. I've been a Star wars fan since it began 1978 when it came out in New Zealand and reading most of the comics Golden age of the Sith, Revenge of the Sith not to be mistaken for the movie episode 3, Bobba Fett, the book of Xrkuun, Darth Plaguses, Book of Darth Bane etc, the comic I want to mention is the Dark Empire should have been episode 7 that comic is old Early 90s late 80s which didn't make sense when I seen Force awakens didn't bother seeing the other two JJ Abrams just stick to finding talented directors who produces such imagination and knows the universe of Star wars awesome Ewan McGregor the maaan!!!
