People ask me why Obi-Wan is my favorite star wars character. It's because after everything he remains unbroken. All he has endured and still he stays true to the way of the jedi. Can't wait for this to come out. I'm sure it will be an emotional roller-coaster

I'm happy the ones that play Obi Wan and Anakin get to play these characters again. I know they'll do well, and they deserve the pay and praise they get.

I love how they are building up Vader, out of the trailers but his presense can be felt everywhere, he's like a force of nature "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE HIM"

It hurts my heart hearing Satine"s voice, even after all these years Obiwan still remembers her.

Its taken decades, but whats so incredible now is that the technology in filmmaking has goten to the point where a mini-series has actually surpassed the quality of the sort of feature films that this tale had started with including the prequels.

Strangely what I'm excited for is the return of Joel Edgerton as Uncle Owen. Since the original Star Wars that character has been an inspiration to foster fathers everywhere. Standing on that sand dune looking out into the horizon, knowing whatever the future holds you will love that little child like they were your own. JT Out

I just saw part 1 and 2.. it was awesome, it had so much in their and did a good job of telling Kenobi's story with some new twists and turns that was handled good and wove a good story, I won't ruin it till people see it but its worth the watch and can't wait to see the remaining episodes

I'm still skeptical if were going to ultimately only see about 2 minutes of Darth Vader in the entire series lol. I really hope I am wrong and we see Vader throughout the whole series and actually see him using his skills as the ultimate bad ass Jedi that he is. We probably wont tho sadly enough. We have still yet to truly see these dark side Jedis truly fight throughout an entire movie or series and I'm not talking about animated.

Unless I'm missing some part of cannon I'm not thinking of, wouldn't it be so sweet if Obi Wan faced Maul again in this series?

0:20 That was 100% deserved and I’m honestly looking forward to seeing what kind of characters Owen and Beru turn out to be plus I’m also guessing that Owen thinks Anakin is dead. I’m actually on Owens side here anyway because Obi-Wan is very manipulative of Luke eventually as we see in Episode IV. I will reserve judgement about the new female character until I see the show but I hope they don’t use her to plow over Vader. It’s likely they only did this because they’re hiding him from the trailers but damn. We don’t need another Rey.

I'm still extremely concerned about how Obi Wan interacts with the world and the inquisitors. If they can profile him JUST ONCE then Vader would be glued to finding and defeating him above all else. Hell, even old Palp himself would probably push him to focus upon it. If Vader can have enough interest in as little as Ghost team to the degree he did when they were a bunch of nobodies on Lothal then surely he'd be frothing at the mouth to deal with Obi Wan. To have Vader defeat Anakin's old master would be the number one priority going forward. How can Obi wan make his presence known at all without endangering Luke and his entire life's work at this point? Just him leaving Luke alone is hard to understand. But to be risking getting captured off world is risking Luke's own identity and life. Furthermore, Obi Wan also risking his own life is also running the risk that Luke will never be taught about the Jedi. Hell, he'd ironically probably end up joining the imperial academy as a pilot like he always wanted. Obi Wan is so pivotal to the prophecy that I just can't string together how he interacts with the world outside of being a sad lonely hermit and nothing else beyond that. He is gonna have to be on the brink of complete mental collapse and go through extremely high levels of stress, pain and anxiety in having to somehow hide his identity, face his past trauma, likely confront a new present threat and above all else - protect the chosen one. The situation that leads him to endanger absolutely everything (the entire galaxy's fate) is gonna have to be of the most upmost importance. The very fact the inquisitors are involved tells us that they're hunting him or another from the get go. If its him - I don't know how you can write that intelligently without him being utterly screwed. And if they're hunting another. Then why would he get involved at all? That's beyond foolhardy considering his importance. Assuming its helping a runaway jedi who needs help... I'm sorry but I do not understand that. If they are going to do this then they at the very least must display Obi Wans emotion being on the brink of snapping - how couldn't he be? He'd have to show complete furious anger toward this other figure for putting him in this position as well as sympathy for what they're going through. Do you see the amount of stuff ol Ben is having to juggle if this is the plot they're gonna go with? It's insane. Again - you must go full focus on his emotion. If its avoided and its just another colourful wacky adventure... man, I cant. Its weird, I'm exited, and yet, terribly worried about this shows plot. Sounds silly but this show Is honestly what marks Star Wars as make of break for me. Its exhausting and I't be healthier if i just let the interest go tbh. Its just a volatile hotbed half the time.

This series really felt like a tv show, and not in a good way. Already a "strong independent black lesbian" taking the lead, the woke is strong in this one....yet again. The forest chase scene with Leia had me laughing so bad. A bunch of hired kidnappers outrun by a tiny 10 year old girl, sure. 2 episodes in, and already lost faith in this.

It’s a bait and switch, this series is about the inquisitor. Disney is incapable of honoring the characters we love.
