Anakin was the chosen one but it was a prophecy that was misread. He brought balance to the Force after defeating Palpatine in Starwars VI.

Vader did balance the force, their where hundreds of Jedi and 2 Sith at the start. In the end really just 2 on either side..... balance. The hubris of the Jedi blinding them to the fact they held all the power and for balance to happen means they will loose power, numbers, or control. I actually thought that was one of the redeemable story arcs from the prequels.

One can argue that emperor Palpatine had that power to dream implant because he admitted that he was snoke implanting dreams through various dark side methods like vaders helmet supposedly and just his nightmares so maybe he just had that type of with power and he used that to manipulate around

Didn't Yoda and the rest of the council know that the chips could turn the clones against them, but thought that the war was too important to stop clone production and to remove these chips?
