I absolutely love how the differences between Luke and Leia are apparent here as children as they were when they were 19. Leia was so diplomatic and political from a very early age while Luke goes "vroom vroom" on his uncle's farm.

Luke was going "vroom vroom" because he just couldn't wait to get away from Tattooine. Which is what most kids living on that planet probably wanted. For instance, in A New Hope, most of Luke's friends had already moved away and becomed pilots or joined the Empire. Imagine if you had grown up knowing that we could visit other planets. Wouldn't you be itchin' to see them all?

I don't know why people are so bothered by how Leia acts in this show, it honestly makes sense. Leia was always a sassy person her whole life. "Grand Moff Tarkin, I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board" Don't forget she also was the only one that had the balls to stand up to Vader and not get killed in episode 4. I also find her attitude to be a lot like her father Anakin, she's adventurous and talks back when it involves certain things that she strongly believes in. That's just who she is and who she always was. But you can't please everybody I guess 🤷‍♂️

It’s not that she is annoying, it’s that the entire premise of her behaviour and actions are simply so far out there and unbelievable. No child in their right mind would act the way she did right after being saved from a kidnapping on a cruel and savage alien world where she has no other means of escape other than with the one guy who saved her…and know she tries to run away from him by jumping from rooftop to rooftop? What I find hilarious is that every once and awhile I'll see people calling the children in these movies "annoying", I even once saw someone hating on Grogu...y'know...the literal puppet. It's so brilliant they cast this girl as Princess Leia .just done watching Obi-wan Kenobi then I watched A New Hope right after... it's amazing how Vivien is so like the little Carrie Fisher. Her sassiness and wit,it's spot on!

she's just like her mother and herself when she's grown up, I just wish Carrie Fisher could've witnessed her performance, she's awesome. edit: there's also a pinch of her father in her character

A LOT MORE than a pinch! Had things been different, she’d have been Anakin’s mini-me! I can see her and Ahsoka scheming up ways to drive Anakin insane! Lol. Padme would probably be the only one who could control her. And poor Uncle Obi-Wan would’ve been gray-haired within a week. I’d love someone to do a fanfic about the Skywalker family life if Anakin hadn’t gone Sith and Padme lived.
