Roberto was definitely a legend on and off the field. His team probably had to carry him sometimes, but he always managed to come through in the clutch!

Harry Truman fell to the aging process. He barely saw Christmas, then died right after. 88 is a long lifetime. Surprised he lasted that long.

Talk about bad timing! Poor Harry Truman couldn't even enjoy his Christmas presents before he kicked the bucket. Guess the aging process had other plans for him!

Thanks to David McCullough's prize winning biography of Truman, we are.able to take a second evaluation of his administration and his courage making tough decisions in tough times. When he left office, he was the most unpopular president amid calls for his impeachment. He fired Douglas McArthur, and rightly so. It took guts to fire the most popular general but McArthur was insubordinate and unwilling to follow orders. He countered massive strikes, though some of the orders were unconstitutional. But he wasn't paralyzed with indecision. He was incorruptible, honest as the day was long. He grew into the office of the president and operated the levers of power with responsible firmness.

MLB did Hodges dirty by waiting until 50 years after his death to induct him into the Hall Of Fame, and shortly before his widow passed away at 95.

@@luishumbertovega3900 I made to trips to Hodges' hometown of Princeton, Indiana earlier this year, and on top of a shelf at the public library is a frsmed photograph of Hodges in his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform holding a bat in his hands.

@@ronaldhansen2378I just Googled his name, and the date of his birth is disputed, so we have absolutely no way of knowing whether he was actually born in 1872 or not, it gives his age as 58 in the 1940 census, so he could very well have been born in 1872.

Michael Rabin - During a recital in Carnegie Hall, he suddenly lost his balance and fell forward. This was an early sign of a neurological condition which was to limit his career from then on. His death, at 35, resulted from a fall in his apartment in New York City......Michael Rabin, a violin virtu oso who at 35 could look back on two decades in which he traveled some 700,000 miles to play before millions on six con tinents, died suddently last night at his home, 185 West End Avenue. The body was found by a friend in the early evening. The police said that Mr. Rabin had died of an epileptic seizure. He was attended by a physician in the building, who pronounced him dead.

Bruce Lee dies in 1973, but he's included in this video for deaths in 1972. Perhaps it's much more complicated than simple math.

Michael Rabin died when he slipped on the floor of his apartment and hit his head. He had barbiturates in his system. Rabin hadn’t recorded for more than a decade when he was in his 20s. He had a lot of phobias and poor mental health imo
