The boys kicked ASS last night in Tampa! They put together the 1st annual Florida Metal Fest and it was an awesome day! Deicide was tight as hell too. But when Obituary took the stage, even with a slight problem with a buzz in the sound system at first, they tore it up! And when they brought the mighty Jon Oliva onstage to do a couple of Savatage songs...HOLY SHIT!!! John Tardy went into full fan mode on the side of the stage bringing out his GoPro camera and filming Oliva and the crowd! Thanks for the killer evening Obituary!!!

Oh how I just love this band. Nobody like the mighty Obituary...and I think my fave part of the video is where Don Tardy goes back to feed the cat at the beginning, because the guys run a cat sanctuary in Florida. Nice touch by the video artist. Im not even a big cat lover, but that is just freakin cool.

I saw them live in 2018 in London when they were a supporting band for Slayer and Lamb of God and I had never heard of them,they were the best band of the night for me or on par with LOG and was the band me and the father in law spoke of and still do,they are amazing live,would love them to come back over so I can see them again

I remember seeing Obituary on there back from the dead tour in 1997 in London,Ontario,Canada @The Embassy Hotel which only held 400 very cramped people & the stage was so small lol. but it was such a kick ass show!

All metal heads have a great sense of humor lol....I was at work one day and our resident punk couple looked at me one day and said, "You're a death metal guy aren't you?"....I have no facebook or any other way for them to know that. I asked "How did you guess that?", and they answered with "All super happy dudes are death metal people we have discovered" lol......And, no, I don't have anything in my appearance that would suggest I do. Most people just give you crap for it, so I hide it. Unless I'm in my car, and then, its ON.
