I don't know what future garage is, but I'm here to find out :) EDIT: graffiti appeared on my bedroom walls, the lightbulbs turned ultra-violet, and the ceiling was removed to reveal a sky of endless galaxies.

another fantastic mix. thanks. just been ruminating about future garage. in the future we will live in a garage (and own nothing and be happy). all your life. all your emotions. all of it will have to fit into your (rented) garage. once you step out, killer drone will teach ya. a life where death is a blessing.

i think so yeah, post dubstep or just "sounds-like-burial" it does overlap with chillstep though imo this is darker and covers a lot wider bpm

Yeah, after Dubstep achieved maturity, artists from the UK who wanted to make something future forward, would be encompassed by the Dubstep scene at the time. Artists were also making a conscious effort to separate themselves, and this is where terms like 'post-dubstep' came around. Later with more refinement, the future garage scene was born (named by whistla), taking on the dark aesthetics of burial's music.
