“Odogwu” in original Igbo (Ndi Gboo; ancient people) culture doesn’t necessarily mean “excessive money.” Character is a major part of it, people should stop using this word wrongly and loosely.

In my culture good name is better than wealth, we do not celebrate you just because you’re wealthy, ill-gotten wealth is not celebrated. Source of wealth must be known and well established. It’s all encompassing, so strength of character is much more part of it. Google has it as “a strong man, a man of charisma and. prowess. Hope you have an idea of what I mean now. Thanks 🙏

She think he is rich, he look at her Nigerian money and came calling.
