Hi Andrew, Thanks for the settings I've followed these! 👍🏻 I have a question if you don't mind.. in the audio mixer of my OBS I am only seeing one light line audio signal for my Focusrite microphone, I notice that you also use Focusrite but I see both a left and right channel (I'm assuming this is left and right). Would you know how to remedy this or where I'm best to look? I think this could be a reason my audio is still quite low.

0:50 My problem was that the USB mic was not showing in the Recording tab, or anywhere else. I guess that is what the occasional pair of "bing bong" Windows sounds was trying to tell me (I just found out those are the default sounds for device connect and device disconnect) ... the USB mic not working correctly. I played around with USB ports (my laptop has only 2 ... seriously!!) and finally got the mic to show up. From there, your video was excellent.

Bro...I think you actually fixed my problem...I think my mic had too much juice in it because the levels were set to 100 and it made my voice sound disoriented and scratchy in OBS. I don't know what to say except...thank you!

So I recently purchased the mv7+ mic and the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen. I’m really new to this whole scene. Now whether I connect the Mic to either usb or using the XLR cables directly into the interface, when ever I set headphone monitor on OBS I get a delay. I have been working on this for about three days now trying different things and asking on discord. I have tried using the software that comes with the MV7+ and without it. The way I have it set up. Mic is set up on the main screen for MV7+. The desktop audio is set up as MV7 plus headphones I go to the advance settings and set monitoring to MV7+ headphones. I then going to the settings and select monitor with other source. I have tried connecting to headphones directly into my computer and also connecting the headphones into the interface, but no matter what I connect to as soon as I hit headphone monitoring I hear the delay. Now I know if I connect to the interface and hit the direct monitor button then i won’t get a delay, but now I no longer hear any filters from OBS. I must be doing something wrong. Is there a way to get a walk-through of every setting I need to do?

I'm using the Samson G track pro microphone and I have it hooked up to OBS everything is fine with the microphone in the audio mixer however when I add filters like noise gate or noise suppression it doesn't register to the microphone? I have Uninstalled the program and reinstall and it still doesn't work BTW it's OBS 27.0.1 the newest version plz help

Seems like I'm the problem. I just cant get it to work. Connected my podcast mic to usb, went into sound control panel, no input device found. Do a search for input device, none. Mic on. It doesnt help that my windows control panel looks completely different from this example. So frustrated.

With all these settings it sounds much better in OBS, but i still get a little bit of underlying static, im guessing thats about as good as im gonna get with an $80 mic lol

Try the filter called "noise suppression"
