Something that few people realize is the fact that Fleabag can see the priest's fox and the priest can break her fourth wall is them breaking down each other's defense mechanisms and actually seeing each other. It was basically them seeing each other truly vulnerable. it was incredibly heartbreaking.

It makes a lot of sense. A lot of people say that modern feminists are feminists because they possess a physical feature that is unattractive to men. Like the stereotype that feminists all have large noses and this anger makes them "hate men" and become feminists. So she is saying that she would be less of a feminist if she had bigger tits because she would be feel appreciated and more liked by men making her less resentful.

What I love about fleabag and the priest is they are perfect for each other when they met but would be terrible for each other long term. He uses priesthood to keep people at arms length, and she uses sex to keep people at arms length. Through season 1 we see her get absolutely railed all the time but she's rarely interacting with the person she's sleeping with she's interacting with us, in contrast when she sleeps with the priest she slaps the camera away. it is finally an intimate private moment and she doesn't want the audience involved. In contrast the priest tries to keep her at arms length in the confessional where people open up to him but he doesn't have to be open himself, theres a literal wall between them but she knocks down that wall by actually opening up emotionally and he ... well we know.

I've always wanted to know if *"BOO! BAH!"* was an acting choice or in the script, it's such a hilariously real moment of panic and every time I'm reminded of it, it lives with me for weeks

By the way PWB reacts, which seems genuine and trying not to burst out laughing, I would say it's partly improvised, I like to think that Andrew Scott just added his own flavour to the scene
