Did you forget Cohen's case two weeks ago where the Judge called him a serial purjurist and that the judge knew Cohen was lying again and Cohen did not have any proof to back up his supposed claims.

What was intended must be a crime, and the District Attorney must prove that it was or would have been a crime if the defendant followed through, in order to meet the statutory requirement. Falsifying business records with intent to commit a legal act is not a crime under the statute.

That is exactly why evidence was submitted. To corroborate the testimony of the witness(s). It's not a "he said, she said" thing. It is a real criminal case involving real court proceedings. There is paperwork and two other witnesses which corroborate the guy's statements and probable upcoming testimony in this case. Yes, often in a court of law, eyewitness testimony is considered the highest form of evidence. But prosecution did their homework in this case. They brought cold hard evidence to the table as well. When has your latter mentioned con ever provided evidence? How many witnesses does he have to corroborate his claims?

That stood out to me too, but I think Weissman kind of jumping ahead, and talking about the weight of the evidence -- as in, the jurors would have to disbelieve all the physical evidence AND all the sworn testimony, to find Trump not guilty, which is hard to see happening, especially as Trump hasn't provided an alternative set of data to explain the situation. Let's make up a case. A man is accused of murder. He has no alibi -- he says he was home alone all night. However, three witnesses say that they saw him at the murder site, one says they saw him do it. The man's cell phone pinged at the burial site. The man says his phone was stolen, and the police later find the phone at the burial site -- with only his fingerprints. Now, it's possible that the man has a doppleganger who stole his phone (wearing gloves), who murdered the victim, while the man was at home peacefully sleeping, but that isn't very likely, in fact it's exceptionally unlikely, and a reasonable jury would not consider that "reasonable doubt". Similarly, the argument that Trump didn't sleep with S.Daniels and wasn't involved in the hush money payments, simply is not believable, particularly in light of the cohesive testimony to the contrary. Trump's argument that Cohen is obsessed also isn't great. Even if allow that Cohen is certainly focused on Trump, it's easy to see why he might be -- and worse, everything Cohen says is backed up by something other people can corraborate. If the defense team finds a theory of the case that can withstand the evidence, the jury may have something to consider on that side. Right now, it's looking bad for Trump.

Daniels testimony was full of enough testimony with details that you can bet.. there is not a juror that doesn't beleive Daniels. Transcripts of every day's testimony is available online....if you check those out I think you'll find lots and lots of accusations of criminal activity. You have to be either willfully avoiding the evidence so far, or simply unable to comprehend the testimony presented so far to believe we've seen no evidence of the crime of falsifying documents in order to interfere with an election. We'll have to wait and see if it's enough for conviction but given the amount of damning evidence presented so far it doesn't look good for Trump.

There were several news organizations in the Court that wrote down every word. The truth is none of the witnesses so far have done anything to prove the prosecutions case. I personally care much more about blind justice than selective prosecutions. MSNBC said it's a Frankenstein case that never should have been brought. This one is the weakest case they have against Trump, CNN, MSNBC and others have said as much. And so far the prosecutor has failed to connect Trump to anything. I don't have to like Donald Trump to be unhappy about biased reporting and Joy has gone off the rails.

Judging by his bankruptcies and legal problems, I'd say that Trump is an incompetent businessman, politician, and criminal.
