Dave has signed up for The Longest Day Challenge and his crap Honda is nearing completion, just in time too as the deadline is looming
longestdaychall...
A 1000+ mile road trip in one day, with no motorways, on crap old bikes.
For the challenge Dave has bought a worn out, broken old Honda and he's going to use it to raise money to fight cancer. So please donate and help Dave and the old bike fight the good cause

i have already given money, but after seeing the state of THAT, I feel it wasnt enough. I would therefore recommend you carry a case of red bull and a packet of unfiltered cigarettes, and a box of matches (you can also use them to set fire to the bike)

Due to not seeing a previous video, and being slightly hard of hearing, I wondered why you were waiting for delivery of wheel barrows. Wheel bearing makes much more sense. 😊

The 2 bolts that hold the air box are always super tight. Thermostat failure is also common on old bike that's been sat around

That's a fair old trip to Lands End on it before you even get started! Good luck on the trip, hope it all goes well and there's no mechanical problems although I'm sure that hammer will fix them. Even if it's just to smash the thing to pieces! 😁

At least they dispensed with the 4 sparkplug setup. That front left one is a bugger to get to on my old Bros

I put some similar Chinese aftermarket spotlights on my GS and they were surprisingly fab. Not very secure though so every so often I needed to make sure they were dipped away from dazzling oncoming traffic. Luckily you're staying on the left of the road (hopefully) so no need for ferry faffing. Best of luck!!! 🤞😎

Oh.. that's the 700.. these are usually fuel injected, than the 650 that are not.. did some one dump the injectors.

Whilst you had the exhaust off you could have cleaned / regreased the foot brake pivot, it's one of the major issues with poor rear braking
