Marceline scares people away intentionally because if she does it she can say it's on purpose, whereas if she doesn't and they still run she'd have to accept that it's because of her. Her story sniped my heart in the foulest way and I still haven't recovered❤❤❤

What Boonie did: altered the entire ecological and social structure of the large island they lived on by constantly experimenting on the locals and producing new life forms (many of which were food based), going so far as to make sure the candy people all had low intelligences so they couldn't plot against her. We saw her create the lemon kingdom, we know this happened before with the nuts, breakfast, hotdogs, etc...the regular mutations were like resident evil and goblin like stuff. She was basically a dictator selfishly altering and creating life to make herself feel more comfortable. Guess Marceline had enough of that back then. We saw through the series there was still something there and by the end Bubblegum was eventually owning up to her selfishness behind creating things and decided to stand aside...also Bubblegum had little respect for things she didn't create when she was younger and it showed.

Edventr time Obsidian came out November 19 2020 and i just watched it egen tonight and it still makes me wanna cry. 😢❤

Great reaction. Honestly the other episodes of Obsidian aren't that great compared to this one so seeing this one you dodged a bullet with the others. For the most part each one is kind of set after the series finale except for the Jake and Finn one which is sort of like another episode of Adventure Time. There is a spin off in the works about Fiona and Cake; otherwise this was the final episode with Bubblegum and Marceline in it. Anyway just thought to drop this comment in here while I can. Did Jake die, yep and Finn latched onto his children and possibly grandchildren in a really creepy way...likely. Yeah this series has like three groups, the short lived, human lifespan, and immortals. Most of the life forms seem to fall into despite being sapient now still having animal life spans, like regular dogs, foxes, birds, rabbits, etc...we even saw some of Jake's kids already grown up and having their own lives after only like a year. So yeah, Jake was a full grown adult when Finn was still a kid and Jake likely only lived maybe another five to ten years after series end.
