Hi mam, I am currently 32 weeks pregnant. At 29 weeks 6 days scan MCA pi = 1.81, ri = 0.83 and s/d = 5.85, PSV = 67.9 cms/sec, EDV = 11.6 cms/sec (19 centiles) Umbilical artery pi = 0.94, ri = 0.62 and s/d = 2.66 (37 centiles) PSV = 40.9 cms/sec, EDV = 15.4 cms/sec CPR = 1.926 EFW is 1223 +- 122.3 gms. Doc said fetal has anemic. After that, scan 31 weeks 2 days Umbilical artery PI =0.90 MCA PI = 2.36 MCA PSV = 66.14 cm/sec and doc said all parameters are below the 10th centiles for gestation s/o symmetrical IUGR EFW is 1399 gms It is normal or not? I am so worried. Please reply me mam.

In my fetal Doppler scan umbilical cord pi value show normal flow but MCA Pi value falls at 2%tile for the 34 weeks gestational age.. MCA pi- 1.3 MCA PSV MOM-- PSV 44.17 MOM 0.91 and CRP 1.39 It is harmful to my baby aur muj kya karna chahiye plz reply 🙏

is there any specific cutoff ,from which week -umbilical artery and mca can be taken . if the 17 weeks gestation is showing only 14 weeks does umbilical artery helps to find iugr or its just uterine artery ..?

Barcelona site gives percentiles from 20 weeks onwards so before that only uterine artery PI for prediction of PIH n not exactly for diagnosis of FGR

Thanks Dr. Joshi for a very detailed and informative video. I wish you had scanned live and shown the Doppler in action. Also do we have to worry about angle in any other Doppler interrogation other than MCA.

Angle important only in MCA n also in uterine artery. Ut artery insonation also at less than 30 degrees angle

@@tapaspaul3140 9th month start hua tha after one week jab ultrasound hua tab pata chala ki amniotic fluid less h but phir bi Dr. Ne kaha ki abi delivery ni kr sakte h isliye Dr. Ne 15days bada diye phir maine alag alag Dr. Ko dikhaya but Dr. Ne jaldi delivery ke liye mana kiya meri delivery date 30oct thi but situation dekhkr Dr. Kuch time bada kr 20oct ko delivery date di but 19oct ko morning mei jab baby movement feel ni hua or mai hospital gai tab pata chala ki baby expire ho gaya tha or delivery ke baad pata chala ki baby ne potty pass krdi thi isliye aisa hua mera first baby tha apka kuansa month h but aap tension mat lena kuki maine bi bhuat tension le li thi or Dr. Khete h ki tension ni lena chaiye warna problem badti h aap bs regular time se check up krao or baby movement ka dhyan rakho apka bi first baby h kya
