Thanks for sharing, thinking of staying. Did they offer to change rooms on account of the AC? Is there a lock on the bathroom door?

Yes lock on the bathroom. UPCHARGE on room exchange.

Can i ask about the tipping at the bars/beach. Did you feel pressed to leave large tips for good service?

We had good service either way, but yes tipping did at times (especially at the lobby bar) cause the bartender to be a bit more heavy handed. Just make sure to hand the tip straight to the bartender and not in their tip jar. If you want a good strong drink, just do like I did and order and extra shot on the side.
