Go for more damage. Sustaining life with VP on guardians/shaper shouldn't be much of an issue with flasks up. Boot enchant also goes a long way, even if it does look mediocre

POB says my DPS is just over 700k (w/ 6,668 life). Not sure how much I believe that. What should my target be? Boot enchant + Atziri's Promise might be enough, though. I'll test that. I wasn't using Promise, which was duuuumb. And for clarity, the quality is on WL, but on Blasphemy, which gives curse effectiveness to WL. My bad!

That is total dps. While it may serve as a good all arounder, I never trust the total dps calculation. 700k is enough for the content, everything over 400k in total is enough for the content (but ofcourse, that depends on the build and the player, dark pact with 800k will kill shaper decently fast, where, for example, scorching ray with 800k will have issues). The issue I have with PoB is that it calculates total dps and includes movement speed as well, and everything into account (for example, take archer with queen of the forest and proper boots, and then replace the queen with generic rare or belly and kaoms roots, your total dps count in PoB will go down). I am well aware of the clear speed meta, but I don't give a crap about clear speed meta, so I don't trust that it calculates the "actual" dps. Yes, Atziri's Promise will most likely fix your leech issues.

grab a kaom's roots if stun really bother you that much otherwise go for more life and other def flask would be nice too

i've had major mana issues playing cyclone and dp on tabula tho mathil uses the covenant which is level 48 and takes care of that but until u hit 48 it's so fucking annoying

Go for GG gear. GG rings and amulet first, then the rest of the upgrades. There is a very nice ammy, you can find it under rune charm gold amulet , goes for about 240 exa (crit, crit multi, t1 spell damage, t1 cast speed, t2 life and t2 mana) poe.trade/search/ranikiyukarini You can prolly haggle for lower price

i wouldnt do it just yet... i would rather get gg chaos dmg crit rings with life, one culling strike void battery, a +1 gem carcass/covenant , some gg but not mirror worthy ammy.. 21/20 dp.

looking for a build that feels as sexy as signal shot with mirrored gear and legacy vinktars did. use to shaper dying in a few seconds, but trying to avoid a bow build if possible this time. just not sure. I suppose my end game budget id be willing to invest would be 400ex maybe 500, if the build is cool enough, but it has to be a build that can do all bosses, map / mods, etc, and look badass doing it. some crazy ass shit going on on screen but with some op ish dmg and really hard to kill. im a sucker for ridiculously op builds on standard, just gives me a collectors feeling i guess. Hopefully i can find a build. maybe something that uses a mirrored weapon would probably be the top choice id assume?

Well, you can check Mathil's Ice Shot, recently posted. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hrFjiNp_usmmmWw.html - kills shaper reasonably fast, 5 link I believe, scales highly with investment. Can replace the gear with stronger variation since you aim to spend 400-500 EX. Can use any bow skill as well. If you aim to replicate it piece for piece (just better), I'd highly advice on Chin Sol corrupted with 1 additional arrow OR Culling Strike. Other than that, I don't think bows have been changed pretty much either way, they are still strong as they used to be, you'll just go life variation instead of CI.

valentin agamalov you can't apply 2 curses at the same time on a single monster. However when using 2 curses on multiple monsters, each curse will be applied once randomly. Say you have 2 monsters the result could be both monsters cursed with the same green curse or both monsters cursed with the same red curse or 1 monster cursed with green and 1 monster cursed with red.

It gets better the more damage you deal. I struggled too when I was your level and a bit up. And some point suddenldy everything came together and it worked fine. Im lvl60 at the moment and I feel like I can DP single enemies and leech back the life I lost. Might be wrong. Will definitely get better once damage goes up more and once I can use Atziri flask. Stick with it, it gets better.

Yes. It is Spell Totem linked to "Wither". Wither increases chaos damage taken. That can help against bosses that dont zip around like crazy.

Maybe also linked it to faster casting since Wither builds up stacks. The more stacks the better, but it takes a bit to get to full stacks.

supersmashbrojoe it's incredibly difficult. I had an extremely hard time leveling it, which is the reason I bailed on it. I recommend while leveling to use skeles.

use spell totem with summon Skeletons and enjoy sitting at the back and watch them suffer while selfcasting DP

I used self-cast DP at around level 30 on a 6 link tabula.. levelling was really fast.. i went for Vaal pact straight, used life leech gem until i could go warlord's mark blasphemy.

He did show its better with void battery still

But if you use something else it feels bad because you could just do better

If you did so on a selfcast zerker vp, well done because its suicidal in lower levels to use it as you can barely leech back what you are drained for on a boss or a single target rare mob, and while a boss is hitting you its just GG health. Thats my experience
