I always miss the coho run. I get em in the Puget Sound quite a bit. The river that I fish has silvers but I'm in the process of figuring that out. I am more of a chinook and steelhead addict, but I am figuring out the cohos still.

I just cant wait for the river to be open! My dad, grandfather and my dads friends taught me how to fish that beautiful fishery with dodgers and deep sixes. Im almost 40 but i can remember the water temp being 56.5 when i was a kid. Fish out of a 16 ft starflight with a johnson 70 for years until my father bought Monte Colemans boat. So like i say its in my blood! The bullship

Hey guys, shout out from Gold Beach Oregon, home of the Rogue River. Any chance you can go target some of Oregon's Most underrated, least talked about sport fish? I'm talking about Stripped Bass in Oregon. Apparently this amazing sport fish is considered a nuisance here. No vids on KZfaq for Oregon's Strippers.

@@AddictedFishing Just got back from my first Stripper trip in Oregon. Had a blast. Spent the whole time throwing big swimbaits, and Yo-Zuri jerkbaits. Fished the Coquille River near Bandon, Or. Just over a mile upstream from the Bullards Beach State Park boat launch. Go get some!

Im all for what you guys do. But do you ever feel like your over harvesting? As a young angler i am trying to catch one of every species then im not gonna be part of the problem. I mean if you look at the numbers and the returns it seems obvious they need help. And one anglers impact doesnt seem like much but if we all think that way it adds up right? Im just asking not trying to catch hate. Honest question

You havent looked at the numbers with the forecasted run for Coho returning. There are stocks that are in trouble but they are heavily regulated against harvest, in this episode we are targeting a very very healthy stock of hatchery salmon.

Anglers are not the problem. Without our license fees these fish wouldn't exist to be caught. Poor fish management is the problem. Hatchery wild coexist.
