Enjoy a 20 minute early morning golf cart ride around Ocean Lakes Family Campground in Surfside Beach, SC. Ocean Lakes has been a family staple for years, and one of my favorite activities is going for a run in the early morning or driving the golf cart around with a cup of coffee. We begin and end the journey on Mermaid Drive, on the Southern end of the park. Highlights include the Sandy Harbor Waterpark, Activities Center, Sandy Mart, a drive up towards the front entrance and more! Enjoy!

Ocean Lakes always feels like a home away from home to our family. One of the things we like doing is staying in a new area of the campground each time we stay. Then when we drive around in our golf cart we see all the houses we have stayed in previously and recall some of the memories from that trip. Always a fun time. Morning golf cart rides around the campground with a cup of coffee is a fond vacation experience I will never grow tired of. :)

You should take that ride the two weeks leading up to Halloween.🎃 Everyone decorates their houses/campsites. It’s a hoot!

I would love to go down for Halloween! I hear it is so amazing. The problem is we live 8.5 hours away and our kids are in school this time of the year. Maybe we should just take the plunge and buy a place?
