I love this pick up so much that I want to get into 4x4ing..although I don’t want to be one of those blokes that gets a car for the looks only...so before I even think about getting this, what’s a good 4x4 vehicle to get to learn the art in..for a complete noob..!! 🤣🤣 suggestions will be much appreciated.

Keep the scoop unless it helps cool/vent the engine and the rear roll bar, keep the roller shutter too, I prefer the original and different wheels, but I get why you replaced the originals, I would do the same.

looks great but when you hit that start button, firing up that massive powerful throaty sounding umm 2L lmao, what a crap engine for such a potentially great car, oh wait then throw 2 turbos on it to make it complex and shorten its life, mmmm perfect! As these get older and the cost of replacing that shit engine leads to V8 swaps we'll see some decent raptors hopefully.

You just ruined your whole factory fox suspension with the extra weight and lift unfortunately but if you just want to look cool then there you go.

Each to their own, we've done a fair bit of raptors and I own a raptor myself, we've tested numerous of different spring rates with different bars to make drive like factory as possible. Once bull bar and extra weight is added, it is recommended to upgrade the front springs, the fox bypass suspension is still there just using different springs to cater for the added weight.
