We stayed at The Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen and only found a big problem with it ( and it was not just the seaweed ) .Watch to the end to see what it was ..

Good to see both looking good beautiful hotel it looked a bit far out lot of taxis fare to go out but looked fabulous and great to see you enjoying your selves love ❤️Dublin

Taxis and excursions were so expensive, hence we only did one trip into a a del carmen and one tour. This was the only way of getting off resort. The resort was huge, but we like to walk and explore without the cost of transport. We had a great time non the less. xx

I am impressed by this hotel after watching your content. I would like to book this hotel for a week of remote working, that means we need consistent and high speed internet for zoom calls and searches. Do you know if their WiFi is fast enough in the rooms and common areas?

Great video Steve, we're goung in September and cant wait now. Am i right in thinking they do trips into PDC? Is there a local bus you could hop on as £40 return trips will soon add up. We was thinking of going to PDC 2 maybe 3 times whilst there

We only used the taxi from hotel, they didn't have a bus from hotel. We paid 400 pesos from hotel into PDC, taxi back was 350 pesos. The hotel resort is excellent. Have a wonderful time. x When you come out of hotel it's not walkable to the main road and we never saw anyone trying to walk. Hope this helps.

Hotel looked very nice but I agree with Steve, I wouldn’t want to pay £40 return taxi journey to eat out of the hotel and I agree with the electric wires is a big concern. Glad you informed them. Good vlog guys ❤

this was a really informative video/review! :) did you tip any of the bar tenders/staff? not sure what to expect of the tipping culture coming from the UK! also great to hear everyone can use the privilege pool, we are staying in el beso so am excited to try all the different pools! :)

We tipped $1 after a couple of drinks. Or a couple of dollars in restaurants. Have a wonderful holiday it's aovely resort. x

The beach is unusable because of the rocks please take water shoes & be very careful

You get a plate and add all ingredients you want, meats, veg, peppers, mushrooms, been shoots anything you want etc You take your plate to cooking station and she will add cheese if you want it. Hope this helps have a fabulous time.

We didn't find the air-conditioning a problem all indoor restaurants were comfortable. Lovely resort. x

Main restaurant no need to book. Once in resort download app and book online for other restaurants. We didn't have a problem at all getting reservations. Have a wonderful time.

Great video you guys. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem wirh me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S

Hi Steven, you will have no problem. There are lifts in all hotel blocks, there is a trolly cart which transports you around the resort, restaurants, beach, pools, lobby etc! Have a wonderful holiday. We loved the resort. Thank you for watching and messaging us.

At the hotel right now. The food is good the room is lovely and staff friendly. I didn't fibd the beach a problem at all. The sea temperature is perfect. The wild life is wonderful to see we woke up at 6.30 in morning an was lucky to have a deer outside. I will be definitely coming back

We are growing Alison, we are shocked how many subscribers we have. Appreciate every one of them. I could have watched those. Monkeys all day long they were so characteristic. We were told that if you had food and you didn't give it to them they could be aggressive. The resort was humongous and so nice and relaxing atmosphere. Staff were exceptional. xx

Steve great videos,having been to Cuba and cancun,I don't think they are worth the journey to be honest.we have beaches in my opinion just as good in parts of Europe,my fav as I said before is cyprus not least for the food alone.

We have never done Cuba and it was our first time in Mexico. You never know what countries are worth going too unless you go. Agree Cyprus has some lovely beaches and we have only seen a couple. Food is deliciously tasty, hence why we are coming back september. Appreciate your message and thanks for watching.

Taxi was a bit hefty. Hotel was great value. Wiring was probably a mishap, unlocked itself from under the counter. It was reported.

Thought hotel was lovely and food decent , I think the taxi fares each visit to town would get me down a bit but you know next time if you return , bathroom wires I’d be concerned aswell as lose wires in a bathroom isn’t a match made in heaven lol , overall though very nice

Hotel was faultless apart from that wiring. We just couldn't overlook it. Taxi was a ridiculous price, and tours were extortionate. It is what it is. x

We were there middle April and some days were worse than others on our stretch of beach but didn't bother us at all as they were doing a great job cleaning it up. Appreciate your message.
