We can use the word must in a sentence to refer to something we must do. But, then, what is the point of saying "have to"? Many English learners get the words must and 'have to' mixed up. While they may appear difficult to use, they are actually quite simple. 'Must' is a modal verb, which means that, unlike most verbs, it does not show action.
