" বরুণ চন্দ বলেছিলেন "না। " তারপরে যখন সত্যজিৎ রায় তাঁকে হ্যাঁ বা না কিছুই বললেন না, এবং দরজা অবধি এগিয়ে দিতে এলেন বরুণ বাবু কিন্তু কিন্তু করে প্রশ্ন টা করেই ফেলেছিলেন, একটু অন্য ভাবে। "মানিকদা, তাহলে কি গাড়ি চালানো টা শিখব?" মানিক দা বলেছিলেন "হ্যাঁ হ্যাঁ.... ওটা তো শিখতেই হবে! "
