I have this reciver,will do way more than other recivers.You can program 16 satellite feeds using switches.8 cband on turner 1 and 8 ku on turner 2 using 8 way ports,1 switch for each turner,will decode h265 channels no problem,some transponders have to manually enter.this is not for beginners,take you time and it will pay off,had mine over 8 months still discovering more stuff on this reciver.

U can get universal plugs with adapters at crappy tire ( Canadien Tire ) 😉

I have old Pansat and Fortec FTA receiver from the 1990s that is SD. They are in storage and I want to setup FTA again at my new place... After setting up, should continue to use these old SD receivers or buy this Octagon or Amiko receiver you have demo-ed? Will the HD feature of these new receives show a clear picture even on SD channels on Galaxy 19 (as my old receivers, those SD receivers show a blurry picture compared to watching HD TV these days)...

I have old pansat and a few viewsat reciver from 15 or 20 years ago,can recieve a few channels on 97w ku and a few on on113w and that about it,can't recieve any hd,mpeg4,h264 or h265 channels on it.

I don't know if getting a new one will fix the picture on some channels. Sometimes it's the actual broadcast bitrate. But you may see more channels with the newer receiver that has MPEG4 h.265 codex in them which most newer receivers have

Many channels on G19 still in SD.. I wish they would switch to HD broadcast already (by now)... Alas.
