Because I was with my husband, since the age of 14, I had a hard time being alone, and I had a lot of trauma from childhood, and I went through a lot with addiction and mental health. Ya know, there’s only a few songs you will always hold dear in your heart. There’s a song from Lisa Angelle called “I Will Love You” (don’t bother with the KZfaq cover version, not even close to as beautiful) that shoulda been number one for a looong time, but never got the attention it deserved. Susan Boyle had a song called “Proud” about how all she ever wanted to do was make her mother proud of her, also never got the air time it deserved. Both are very very emotional songs. “Thank You For Being You” is another song that hits you in the heart deeper than most other songs. I hope this song gets the recognition it deserves. It’s really an astoundingly impactful song in many aspects. Thank you
