When I first saw a glimpse of him, I thought, "I didn't know Dweezil was a drummer, too." This particular group reminds me of Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention - one person with a vision that can only be realized by prodigy-like players who amassed even more talent and experience over the years. Everyone of these musicians can hang with the best of the best.

I have played metal since i was 15 ...I am 27 now ...From the time i started playing metal ...EVERYONE I knew was introduced to Victor Wooten by me. "HEY DUDE HAVE YOU HEARD THIS GUY"!! He has been my favorite bassist forever, and i never thought i would see this day....It feels like a gift from the gods....

Seth Thomas Yes, he does! So glad to find him doing some metal... There is also a bass player called Bill "the Buddha" Dickens who is a majorly awesome talent, very unrecognized...Both of them redefined bass for me, and inspired me on guitar & drums...

Got too used to Vic doing all the crazy bass licks as a front man. So seemed a bit odd at first...Then seeing him just support the music proves his composure as one of the greatest musician of our time. He just plays to the music with so much respect. Nowhere he tries to outplay....But come on we r talking Vic Wooten here. But look at him....laid back and solid groove under the music. More respect to u Vic after seeing this video

I dont agree totally with you, as a Dream Theater fan, yes I can say there's a little something of DT here, but only because they once were the Nº 1 in Progressive Metal, you have amazing bands which this song sounds more like, Circus Maximus for example :D

Being so very skilled musicians it looks to me that their inspirations are bands such as Dream Theater and Nightwish who also mix genres entirely depending on what they wish to express. And then Hovak bringing in traditional Armenian instruments. This brings an entirely other flavor to it. Just like Dimash as the next generation also plays western style but often brings in traditional elements. Well done

Just fun to listen to. Music for musicians. Friggin Victor Wooten playing metal is a pleasant surprise too. I don't know what nationality everyone is but whatever culture the flavor that comes in from Victor's bass solo onward is really nice.
