Dangerous situation. I was afraid there was other things falling of the trailer. Hope he found the wheel. Hope he learned from this.

Crikey that could of ended badly for not only the towing vehicle but those following bro or in fact traffic heading the other way with Kenny Rogers heading straight for them. (ya picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel). Good catch guys

People not checking they’re gear is what injures or kills innocent people. This could have been much worst for everyone. Hope he learns from it.

Clueless just driving along and no clue they LOST an ENTIRE rim and tire . Its 2023 i believe it all these days . Thank god no one was hurt .

The full spare broke away (rusted) and he didn’t have a clue. Imagine if it were a motorcycle behind him.

You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel.... Paul and Kathy, you know there are a lot of Canadians who migrate between the beautiful country of Canada and the United States. About 10 years ago, I worked the night shift. While on my arduous trip home, I came upon a camper trailer with a license plate registered in Quebec on the worst section of interstate highway possible. We call it Die-81. Traffic was bumper to bumper in both lanes. The right rear tire was not looking good, it had a bit of ghetto lean to it. Well, suddenly it started smoking and it really got bad. I was able to get into the passing lane and signal for them to pull off the highway. They pull off and so did I. I popped the trunk of my car, and grabbed two bottles of water and ran back to their vehicle. The woman asks me what is wrong as I sprinted past her. I told her, "FIRE". I opened one bottle of water and crawled behind the back right hand tire and poured the water onto the hub/spindle and extinguished the fire. With the fire under control, I got out from under the trailer and she handed me an extinguisher. Asked what I used to put out the fire. I told her water. She spoke little English, and I speak no French. Oui! I am not sure how the rest of their trip was, but I was happy to help them during their emergency. If they did not pull off, I am sure it would have been a complete lose. Au revoir and enjoy the journey - cheers

Your a good man my friend. Really good. Most trailers on the road shouldn’t be on it. They seldom have a spare. They never service they’re wheel bearings. Living on a wing and a prayer. It’s pretty easy to get hurt with this type of scenario. Today everyone got lucky. Thank God for that.

Wow that could have end up a lot worse thank heavens no one got hurt . looked like a beautiful day for a drive had the bikes out Friday and Saturday for a couple rides soon be time to put them away for winter seems like we just got them out take care guys have a great week
