Coal and Iron to make steel I think. You also have to be far enough advanced in the era to make more complicated thing like that

I can help they need coal and and copper or gold or iron then once they get that they would make a steel factory but you need to get to 1700s House's

Ya its just a mine on the forest and they will mine the coal. Its a good idea to place several flat land pieces together and then add a few of each of the other types around where the city will be. Then put mines on one of each. Put another one down for each and the people will hunt the animals for those resources as well.

Hey @igamepr0032...for most of the medal-type advances you need mines and a workshop and you need to be in the right era. Once you are in the right era and production has begun your people will automatically form an army. In games like these I usually don't have a plan and just make the decisions I want and see how it plays out.

@@NoxiFN. You just have to use all the land types and put mines on them. The central piece of land will be the settlement and the villagers will harvest and mine everything you will need to grow. To get more settlements just keep putting more land down and surround it with all the different land and water types. Then as you move through the growth eras your villagers will build all of the structures automatically as they will have all the required resources.⏳⏳📅📅🧾🧾

To get all of the metals you just put a mine in each of the land types near your settlement. They will automatically start mining once the mine is in place.

Just make sure you have all the land types around your settlement with all the mine types and when they advance through the ages they will create all tools and weapons and everything else.

@@marx8183 You just need to keep expanding and adding land. The different types of flat land will start different types of civilizations.

They build all the buildings as you move forward through time. So just make sure you have all the different land types with mines on them and they will build everything you need

I think you have to have one of your towns near the desert. So create a few desert lands near the edge of town.

You get a volcano than once it isn’t red anymore put a mine down

All the basic flat land have animals. Just put the land down and the animals will appear.

I think you have to build a mine in the snow region. Eventually the town will create the workshops and use it to make more advances in weapons and tech

You need all the possible resources near the settlement to advance and so get all of the different landscapes going with mining and collection of resources. When you enter a new era your people will start building new things, if you have all the different land types and resource collection going they will make weapons for that age and anything else available.

You just have to make sure a settlement has all the different resources around it. The settlement will create the workshops and eventually make tools and all of the other things you need.

Make a city put blocks of grass put water then you'll have ships that give other people stuff they need then boom your done

Put a mine on the grasslands near a settlement to get copper. I'm not sure about trading weapons...you need several of the resources and a variety of mines and moving forward to more advanced eras for more advanced weapons.
