After being pushed out at Facebook, Palmer Luckey is focused on equipping soldiers with better technology. He tells CNN's Laurie Segall why AI is the key to staying ahead of Russia and China.

From the start of the interview, after every response, she (CNN) tries to pose the same question. Why are you not part of this cancel culture? His deflection skills are on point. He never hesitated to set her straight on every statement. She can’t accept his point that this should not be a political tool. It should be for every American to have the freedoms they currently have. Palmer Lucky is well spoken man. I appreciate him deflecting her on all these liberal questions.

@@patguitar01 that’s just being ignorant. If you listen to his take on China you would know that it’s all about INTENTIONS. 1984 will not happen to USA if we EDUCATE our youth / next generations and maintain the CHECK AND BALANCES of our government. What we need is constant reformation. NEVER BE COMFORTABLE & ALWAYS CHOOSE PROGRESSION. Why I think people like Snowden did the USA a favor for making sure ACCOUNTABILITY is upheld. So don’t go putting your ignorance on others. Choose to try to understand others instead of you screaming your truth onto them. Maybe that way there can be mutual discourse & we can mutually learn from each of our convictions. So we can understand you. That’s the way. Not being afraid of a exacerbated conspiracy theory.

If you build powerful tools which scale up extremely well, by design it could be used by a group of less and less people (converging to one) over more and more people (converging to population minus one). Now Luckey is an interesting mind and a very fast one. He certainly adds to the debate of ideas.

How is VR/AR technology used in autonomous self piloting systems? Will this technology allow for near seamless autonomous driving in nearly every circumstance? I believe that a neural self driving network will chose to the best possible outcome as derived from the data it has. Data is paramount. It may be possible for the car to decide in such away as to crash itself rather than run anyone over because it knows it can safely survive the accident. Can you project a holographic solider to confront the enemy on the field?
@bighands695 жыл бұрын
What if the VR/AR technology is layered with AI. SO that human control the system in terms of over all decisions but the AI then does the control when it comes to mechanical movement and helping to pilot such craft in the field. How does that sound to you.
