Great video!!! You should do your own gameplay videos for this and your future games, it feels like a gameplay from real gamers and it makes the viewer feel the emotion of playing it, i prefer you guys than a famous reviewer that focuses more on marketing and just doing for the sell, keep it up!!

We really love playing the game, so it was really fun. It was not at the same speed of play we normally have because we were explaining some things during it, but I hope it showed how dynamic the gameplay is. We were not very photogenic or good in front of the cameras, but we tried our best. =D

Thank you all for this video! It has been nice to see the dragori team having some fun. I hope you can give us some more videos, showing more mechanics, such as the fliping card one (might be a language issue, but I didnt really understand it from the rulebook, do cards have two sides or what am I missing here?😅)

I'd been hemming and hawing but I really enjoyed watching y'all play this - the scrappy less polished video was a better indicator of what it would feel like to have this on table and I graduated from this being a solo game to trying to figure out where it can fit with my group plays. curse you for the dps you're doing to my wallet.

Hello, Thank you for the video! Although the game looks pretty nice and exciting I got a real concern regarding the overall size of the tiles, they're indeed way too small. This leads to overall less readability and you end up hitting the miniatures all the time. The tiles should at least be +30% in size so you can actually see the miniatures correctly, read the game and enjoy it more. Well, that's my opinion at least but I'm pretty sure a lot of people are feeling the same :) Best regards!

Alex (healer) did an awesome job keeping your corruption down. He wins GOAT player in this video. I wonder when playing this with only 2 heroes, if you must always have a healer or type that can remove or mitigate corruption, to keep your corruption in check? This is a really great video to show how the game plays, how turns can be interrupted with instant ability cards to turn the tide of the battle. (But secretly, I wanted to see someone turn into their demonic form!! Mwahahahah!) You all did a great job and can't wait to play my own copy of the game.

I watched a gameplay, it looks nice: dynamic, interesting and „epic”: everyone can do something really helpful. The mechanism of acting outside a turn is a clever way of reducing a downtime issue. Only two things are bothering me: one major and one minor. First, the mechanism of determining initiative looks too random and not very thematic. In my opinion, initiative should be part of a character's attributes. Perhaps it should be tied to agility or be a separate trait. The random element could be retained because it's always interesting and avoids repetition, but it would be nicer if it were modified by the character's attributes: for example, a nimble acrobatic character would have a better chance of acting quickly, while a heavy tank would likely act later in the initiative order. Mechanically, this could be achieved similarly to how it's done in Too Many Bones: each character has an initiative die, but their values are not the same. Perhaps opponents could have fixed initiative values, while characters roll their initiative dice, creating the initiative order for each battle. Think about it, as it would add a lot of flavor to the game. A minor issue: it seems to me that the tiles are slightly too small in relation to the miniatures, making them difficult to maneuver, the board feels very crowded and hard to read, and the miniatures often get caught and fall over. I understand the goal is to save table space, but maybe a compromise could be reached to slightly enlarge the tiles? Aside from that, the game looks great, and the characters seem unique. It seems that you have achieved a difficult thing in dungeon crawlers: giving players a sense of their characters' power without making the gameplay too easy and thus boring. Good job, I’m looking forward to play it.

Thank you for the comments Barosz. We tried many different initiative systems, but in the end, we felt that the simple one was simply better because it made each room opening very tense but also quick to set up. Stats would require some rolling to keep some level of tension, and that slowed things a lot. The tiles will be increased by about 20%. =D
@metal4k787
@metal4k787 Ай бұрын
i agree with a simple initiative stat. If all heroes are unlucky and at the end of the queue half the patry could be wiped out, especially if starting enemies are doing around 14 points of damage on Chapter 1, first room.
@michaelalves8900
@michaelalves8900 Ай бұрын
Metal, that attack was the most powerful of that villain deck, and the target failed the stat check. The heros can use instants to deal with those situations, and some thrill is important to dungeon crawlers. Don't worry we tested extensively and it there is no situation that we felt powerless to deal with the situations.

@@michaelalves8900you can allow players to take free "steps" to move his initiative card up or down the initiative positition based on attributes (or/and using ability cards). So the team can act strategically up to certain limit.

I totally agree with you on the size of the tiles, and this playthrough really shows that they need to be bigger...maybe even up to 30% or so. @michaelalves8900 I also hope that you print what the condition does on the condition tokens. I disliked constantly referencing the Tanares book to see what empowered, shielded, etc. etc. actually meant. If it was on the token, that could help remove a little of the referencing.

do you have a solo mode video? thats what most people were waiting to see. Also the quality is not very good of video, do none of you have a decent phone camera to use? Such as an iPhone 15 pro max, even a pro max from a few years ago would produce much higher 4k quality then this video which seems like a 720p video
@michaelalves8900
@michaelalves8900 Ай бұрын
We were not expecting solo mode to be what people wanted to see, but I understand that many do. The gameplay is the same. The difference is that you will play with two heroes, one being a simplified comrade and the other your hero. There is a simplified demon card to the comrades, exchanging the transformation for a simple on-use immediate effect, and having rules to make them keep no hand of cards but still being balanced with a normal hero (they draw cards at the start of their turn, and discard all remaining cards at the end, gaining effects per discarded card). You can see the rulebook to understand it better.

@@Killer_Nads@Killer_Nads, I agree. I am sorry that we did not think about this earlier. Recording and editing videos is difficult for us, as that is far from our skillset. Wish i could promise you a solo video before the campaign ends, but right now we will not have enough time. =( Thank you for the feedback, and we will take that into consideration for all future projects.

@@michaelalves8900 no worries, i am on the fence for the game to be honest (only play solo) but i know you create great games (Tanares was great game only held back by poor storage options and too many different type of game modes because it wasnt designed from initial stages for a complete solution so this can happen from anyone - even the ultimate boxes did not fit sleeved cards fully) so inclined to go ahead with my full immersion pledge but i know many people were still on the fence also mainly because they wasnt convinced by the solo mode. Hopefully those backers who might not back now will come on board during pledge manager.
