In this video I start a new job.... It's a 223 bhp Peugeot 205 GTI with a 2.1 Gti-6 engine conversion for Dream Car Giveaways!
The car needs a bit of work doing, some jobs are worse than others, in this video I tackle the problems I've found including suspension faults!

Love this 205 , had 1.9 years ago and it stuck to the road like shit to a blanket!! This one sounds awesome and goes well to !!! Great channel mate need more vids mate ❤

Great job as usual. 👍 New wheels are definitely an improvement, but you can't beat the original 1.9 wheels (but I guess they would not clear the brembos).

I used to fit sunroofs back in the day, remember one guy cut out a large hole and it was a medium sunroof and fell straight through onto the seats🤣

Enjoy the road tests Paul! Keep 'em up. Sounds like a properly sorted motor that wouldn't be too tragic as an almost daily driver with power steering and windows etc. Was just wondering about your Nova, so glad to hear we'll get an update soon...

Excellent video, informative, serious but fun from you Paul & now your twin showed up to assist, (not camera shy)😋 Always a full description of the work required, parts, options and the removal and installation of the replacements. One of the few hot hatches I didn't own back in the day. Definitely gonna be purchasing a few for this little beauty. Keep us updated with the Nova please. Always Gr8 work from you 👍

I'm going to have to check the seats on my 205 now you've pointed out those little plastic bungs. One thing that car lacked was the front driving lights, it would have good to have those installed.

This highlights buying used modified cars, so many small issues with that due to poor build/not got a clue what they were doing. You never know what chimp has put it together. Finally sorted now though.

GTI6 block is a sensational choice for this chassis. 233hp! brilliant. Thank you to the owner for not shredding a 405 mi16 apart just for the engine and killing what is a great car.
