As we know from 7th grade physics course: pressure is inversely proportional to area, that means you need twice as much force to slash the log.

@@Convertibenz it would be cheaper to buy than make... Unless you already own the equipment being used then you'd have to buy the machine/machines before you can make anything. If you have any of the equipment they are using then either you're an industry professional or you have them as a hobby

Thinking on similar lines here. These ideas are all very well but you need a lot of equipment to carry them out. So not very helpful to most people.

It always amuses me how you blokes say Do It Yourself… when most of the individuals dont have the know how or the tools to do half of the same things portrayed in these videos. Welding, power tools, chemicals… you’d need base level to technical college level skills to at least get most of these DIY projects done. Stop trying to hurt people by thrusting your ideals on others. I’ll be the first to say, don’t try most of these things at home unless you have experience. The last thing you need is to end up in a hospital cause you got careless off of watching a KZfaq video that claimed to be a “do it yourself.” The definition of Do It Yourself is “practicality, with minimal experience, and without the need of expensive tools or training to that end.” Watching a Cooking video is a great show on “DIY.” Unless you’ve got the training and this exact equipment, i dont even recommend you thinking of this video as DIY but more as just shear entertainment. Sry to be blunt.
