What bothers me a lot is when people call things ASMR when it’s really just them doing hella weird things while whispering. Edit: What I meant by asmr is relaxing/stress relieving audio. I personally listen to asmr because I struggle with sleeping and can barely fall asleep without it. But what I mean by weird things is videos that impersonate asmr but are seriously weird and not relaxing at all.
