Just 24 hours ago, I had never even heard Odesza, let alone this album. What an innocent and fortunate recommendation. When this tune started, it was as if time stood still, and all I could do was close my eyes and surrender to the experience. I haven't been moved to tears in ages, yet this song opened a door to a deeper inner knowing I forgot was there. It reminds me of a quote from Joseph Campbell, "I don't believe people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive." Thus far, this album is providing that experience.

In December, 2022, my two cousins and I went on a trip up the mountains with some shrooms... we havent seen each other or had a good relationship due to family drama for well over 5 years. The intent was to wash away the past several years and restart. I added this to our "trip playlist" knowing neither of them never heard it before. It came on at the peak of our high as we were laying there in the living room just listening to music in pure bliss.... My cousin opened his eyes at the end of this song and said "wow, this is the kind of song youd want to play as you're dying and departing from this world".... He was exactly right, this song represents life, death, and everything in between. Never. Gets. Old....

The feels when I realized the lyrics were simply "I love you most, I love you more now". Such a peaceful and inspiring tune this.

There was an article I read a few months back that talked about how much stress and anxiety children and young adults had in mid 2018. They said that an 18 year old on average has more stress and anxiety than a psychiatric patient in the 1950s. After hearing an intro like that and getting hit with the solo piano, it was a very emotional sounding piece for me. After listening to this song 20 plus times, I can say that at this point I listen to this very song when i have to unwind from reality. I posted a quote i had said to a friend about this same song on a different video. "When my job, school and family get to be to much for me, I sit in my room and listen to this very song, because to me, this song gives me (pun intended) a moment apart from all of it. It gives me emotional support and comfort, just to hear this song. I hope other can feel the same peace when listening to it as well.

My cat recently passed away.. He's been with me since I was 12 years old. I've been lost without him ever since then I forgot the love I had for this song until my friend showed me this once again.. He relieved the memories of how much I adored for my beloved family member. Its an constant reminder of how much I love him and he'll even be loved to this day. Rest in peace Sally. ❤

Forza Horizon 5 is good and all, but let's be honest here: Horizon 4 really hits it home. I knew every road like the back of my hand. Years ago when I was trying my best to lose weight, I would go out on morning jogs and listen to this song. My route was near the waterfront so hearing this while seeing the sun rising above the water was almost like a spiritual experience, and it helped me push myself to my absolute limits. 5 years later and I now have the body I dreamed of!

I love how this song is used in fh4! My guess is that this song is used for the mclaren senna as the car was a tribute to an F1 legend, Ayrton Senna. He was one of the best drivers in F1 history. Sad that he had to pass away from a crash.

i feel nostalgic to forza horizon 4, the second i heard this play for the 10th anniversary update last week, oh... i had more than some tears in my eyes, i had memories flooding back in... that race with the bikes in the trailers we thought was gonna add bikes to the game the quartz regalia the top gear track-tor when eterna was called timeless FM the player didnt talk the seasons actually affected the game and winter wasn't pathetic (like c'mon guys) edinburgh castle being a god damn g r i n d . toyota coming back was a whole celebration in the community when we thought the supra gr would be on horizon 4 when the ferrari 599XX EVO was the fastest car in the game the huge ice lake during winter Keira. this all happened almost 5 years ago... except keira, she was there since horizon 3 in 2016...

I don’t play forza ( bit old) but my boys ( 6 & 11) do. So I’ve heard this song and always loved it. Now my 6yo has found out the title and plays it at home😊. It’s such a poignant and evocative track that will forever remind me of my boys at a young and carefree age. Sweden on Minecraft gets me the same.
