I make an ARC Trooper helmet from Star Wars: The Clone Wars
In this tutorial show how I make a phase II ARC Trooper helmet by modifying my Captain Rex pattern. The helmet is made from EVA foam.

You are welcome! The gloss white still took 2 coats, 3 over the black foam. I want to try spraying it to avoid brush marks.

@@OdinMakes No problem! Hey let me know how it turns out. I go back and forth on the whole brush marks thing when it comes to clone wars props because the animation texturing looks like brush marks.

I'd like to see Odin make G1 Optimus Prime's head one of these days. I know it's been done to death, but it's a classic bit of design. Maybe he could base it off the original toy from 1984 instead of the cartoon model.

The Arc Trooper is pretty good in Battlefront 2. Also Odin, the Helmet you made for Rex is the Phase 2 helmet, which is the design that takes more inspiration from the design from the Stormtroopers in the original Star Wars. Phase 1 has a far more Mandalorian design to them.

Just for the record, the this ARC Trooper helmet you’re making as seen in season 3 of the Clone Wars, switched over to the standard Phase 2 clone trooper helmet in season 4. If I remember my canon knowledge correctly, the ARC troopers tested out the phase 2 armor, where it was then further modified, and then became standard issue.

Odin, great build as always and a great learning curve and improvement too! Since you like building helmets, how about a robotech/macross veritech fighter pilot helmet? Miriya, Max Sterling, Rick Hunter, the only differences was the color schemes, but Roy Fokker’s Skull Squadron Skull Leader helmet would be awesome!

I think I've said this before but I really like that you leave some of the mistakes in the video. I was staring to wonder if you were going to keep the Rex helmet on for the whole video. The mohawk (for some reason KZfaq thinks this is spelled wrong) could be for helping change direction when riding a swoop. I really admire your skill. Your painting and weathering is really great. Forgetting to press record, while some people might call that a brain fart I call it a human moment. You should make some armor to go with one of the helmets.

So epic. Also, the reason the back and sides of the helmet are so different from Rex is that you made the realistic style arc trooper helmet. (Movie style) and Rex’s helmet animated style (clone wars.) They have slight differences in shape and design. Came out great!!

as it so happens I have seen that one scene from Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 7 and I have to admit I love how much they respect Ahsoka when she came back and the animation for season 7 was a hell of a lot better then the first six season of the clone wars series you did a nice job on the helmet I love it anyways thank you so much for taking the time to read my comments until next time. I have mulled over RoboCop a few times. I love the 90's movie. Robo 2 was good, not sure I ever saw 3. If RoboCop is so heavy he bottoms out a police cruiser- how the hell does he fly with those tiny wings????

So I been watchin' yr vids fer some time now & have enjoyed them immensely. But sumpin' ya mentioned in passing in one vid has me wanting to see more; You mentioned something to the effect of doing GWAR costumes. Would it be possible to do a vid (or 2 or several) on this theme? Were these done for the band or yrself or commission or..? If done for the band themselves, what kind of stories could ya share 'bout the experience? I need to see this & I firmly believe that the world needs more exposure to this criminally underrated band, & this would be as good a platform to spread the word as it gets. Keep on makin'! :D
