The ravenous cat, Beerus, was first introduced during 2013's Battle of Gods film, but his true ferocity in the world of Dragon Ball wasn't truly unveiled until Dragon Ball Super, where even after several powerups and training boosts, Goku & Vegeta were still leagues below the purple feline. The God of Destruction Beerus is not only seen as one of the most powerful, if not THE most powerful Hakaishin around, but he also has a wide array of abilities such as wiping out souls, being immune to gag characters, and also knows of the Ultra Instinct technique! However, how would he fare up against one of his rivals within the Marvel Universe, the king of Asgard, Odin? Although the matchup might not seem fair at first, Odin has fearsome abilities such as being able to manipulate time, space, minds, and can even utilize magic! If these two titans were to face off, who would win? I go over feats, scaling, statements, and other information to determine which one would come out on top! UPDATE: Although the scaling/feats are accurate to an extent, my point of view has certainly changed. In short, I don't agree with this video as much anymore. I may do a rematch at some point. When you take his telepathy, magic, and reality warping into account, I would say Odin wins. If it was a mostly physical fight, I’d say they’re roughly equals. But Odin doesn’t usually rely on his physical abilities against high tier opponents, and would most likely use his magical and cosmic abilities to win. They’re both easily universal level beings, so it could go either way, but my vote goes to Odin.

*CLAPS!* This is great. Excellent job you've done here, Chuck. I love how you always add math and science to your Vs series. It what I like to see. I see many other guys who don't do this shit at all. They usually just give a lil brief description of their feats, and sometimes throw in their own be head canon. "Beerus can destroy multiple Jupiter size planets, so that means he can best Odin with ease!" Or some bullshit like that. So yeah, I really how you do things. Now, I guess I can agree that Beerus can possibly take on BASE Odin. Also, I know Beerus can train with This to become stronger. But with Asgardians, they rarely have to train. Because the older they are, the more powerful they become, period. Odin's father, Bor, for example. But as far as something like Destroyer armor Odin with all his hacks an "super crazy" telepathy, I would give the win to Odin (that's me kinda using a Lil head canon myself Lol. Jk). But, IMO, based off the facts I know about Odin, I believe Odin can defeat Beerus 2/3 times. And no, Hakai would NOT work on Borson. He's too damn powerful for that shit Lol. Odin losing the 1st match because he didn't understand how Beerus' attacks worked. Don't get me wrong, people. Beerus is definitely MAD powerful, but I just feel that with all the abilities Odin has at his finger tips, he'd overcome Beerus sama. This fight goes to the All Father, Odin Borson.

I think Odin might come out on top because he’s a bit more use to fighting beings around as bizzarely powerful as he is. Beerus is so use to destroying beings with ease or swatting them away without a thought that he would probably undestimate the all father only to be given enough he’ll that by the time he got serious he would already be pretty spent.

You forgot to mention that the souls of immortals are immune to Hakkai, and you forgot to mention that against Loki Odin demonstrated mental omnipresence across an "omniversal plane" (just as he demonstrated physical omnipresence across the multiverse against Seth), which for the record is a match for the [Dark] Phoenix Force's best quantifiable telepathy feat.

I haven’t seen it discussed, but have always wondered how the training the dragon ball characters do would impact matchups. In dragon ball, Goku and Vegeta are constantly training and battling. They are full time warriors. While most marvel and dc characters fight when needed, but are not solely focused on training. Wouldn’t that give DB an advantage in terms of experience? Especially with Goku who is constantly learning new techniques from others. The experience could give DB an advantage with the ability to strategize and adapt quicker. You see this in other combat sports where a more athletic fighter loses to a fighter with more experience and a better strategy.

Chuck: Question. About your Superman V. Jiren video were you using normal Jiren or the Jiren that fought MUI Goku for the majority of episode 130 after breaking his limit. Just wondering if you were, as well as if you didn't, would've it changed the outcome if you had? Thanks, also great video!👍👌👏

But it's "just flowery language". We all know Beerus is only multi-Galaxy. And he's only light speed since Dyspo is the first one at light speed. But seriously I agree with the conclusion and analysis. I could argue higher speeds for Beerus in high end feats by scaling, but the results I agree with, Beerus low-mid difficulty.

Toppo distorted the entire world of void with his exploding hakai ball. The world of void was stated to be endless many times and Toppo one shotted it while holding back so as not to kill Frieza. Now imagine what Beerus can do at his peak if you factor in that Toppo was a trainee GoD while Beerus is an ancient Top tier if not the most powerful GoD. That's Just another feat that puts Beerus at multi universal but Odin is not a push over and his hacks are plentiful however the Odin force is not so Odin would more than likely run out of steam trying to overcome a suppressed Beerus.

ObitoTHEwraith Do you know nothing about Odin? The Odin sleep is a common plot point of Odin's comic run. Anytime he over exerts the Odinforce or uses it for too long he must enter the Odin sleep to replenish it. Odin's physical stamina when he doesn't use the Odin force but instead only uses his brute strength and weapons is incredible but fighting Beerus without the Odinfore at peak condition is an absolute suicide match for Odin.

Without naming my opinion on who'd win, I will add a few of my own addendums: -hax resistance is not hax immunity. For example within Dragonball, Beerus could probably break through the time-skip attacks, but that doesn't mean they'd gloss over him without issue, nor would other stronger time-manipulators be unable to hurt him. -the same goes for gag resistance. Arale is kind of a weird person anyways to describe her gag powers, but just because a different character only says that stuff wouldn't work, doesn't mean that character is forever immune to joke writing or characters. And no, I'm not referring to Saitama here. -Scaling Beerus' speed to Whis is weird in itself, because Whis is far stronger and faster than Beerus. Also, scaling travel speed to combat speed? Interesting, I guess Death Battle can do that now without issue.

"Hax resistence is not hax immunity" idk, ask jiren. 🤣 in dragon ball, hax abilities dont work on strong foes. Which is why the fights are mostly physical. Majin buu is a reality warper yet it did nothing to vegito, hit can break reality with a punch and manipulate time, yet it did nothing to jiren. Jiren literaly got a dorect hit from someone who punches reality and it didnt do anything, then hit caught him on a time cage with endless time and jiren was still able to move. Then he proceeded to attack jiren with his space time attack and he stoped ot with a glare. Wtf is gag resistence? It was implied that gag powers dont work on beerus. Arale punches the earth and split it in half. And it wasnt just statement, it was literally backed up after, beerus oneshoted her by touching the ground with his foot lol you have to understand how dragon ball works.

Its true he should scale beerus speed using whiss feat, however whiss isnt the only one with such feats. Jiren literally traveled from a far away galaxy to another in matter of minutes on his heavily supressed form. Even Toppo said "howd you get here so fast". So we can still assume beerus is still pretty dam fast, just lazy.

@@gohanblanco5641 Wow this really didn’t age well. DBS Goku is literally 5D+, meaning he’s 5D at the lowest but is definitely higher. And that’s confirmed by all big powerscalers in KZfaq so don’t even try to refute it. The Macrocosm is a 5D higher dimensional construct. And Goku is able to destroy it now in full power base form which means 5D in base form. Which isn’t even including anywhere near MUI which literally shook an entire existence and was warping the reality of it with his power. Literally doing reality manipulation just by existing their and not trying to. Also you have Broly who is in that same tier, as Broly was literally breaking reality as a whole with shear strength. Jiren who is also on that tier, Vegeta, Moro, Granola etc. And even then, guess what. Beerus is still said to be stronger than all of them. And we know that some of the other gods of destruction are on Beerus’s tier.
