Thors Intelligence is severely underated, Thor is not a dumb brute, in fact hes most likely more intelligent han both Baldur and Heimdalsgade. The only reason Thor is never seen as intelligent is because of how much Odin overshadowes him. Also Thor is very fast. As seen in the battle😅 against jogmungandr.

Skill goes like this: Odin>Thor>Baldur>Heimdall. Thor is an active warrior and has fought many beasts and wars, Baldur didnt really care abt skill since he was invulnerable and Heimdall didnt really know how to fight 1v1 since he couldnt even be touched, you can see this in his fight when he just pushes you away or runs at you like a maniac.

According to Eric Williams, this is fairly accurate. He said that without Draupnir, nobody beats Heimdall (he mentions Kratos specifically). He said Odin has a chance to do it because of his vast knowledge, but he said he *could,* not that it's a guarantee. He also confirmed that Heimdall wasn't scared of Thor, just disgusted by him. The reason he didn't fight him is because Heimdall is a fanatical defender of Odin, and Odin does not want his children fighting. So in this fight it'd be: Odin = Heimdall > Thor > Baldur (without curse) Funny enough, both Heimdall and Thor were capable of beating Kratos 1v1. Kratos got lucky Thor wasn't told to kill him in the first fight, and he was lucky not to have fought Heimdall without Draupnir. But yeah, Odin rules all. Kratos lost to Odin even with Atreus on his side, winning only once Freya (who's Kratos' equal according to the digital artbook for Ragnarok) stepped in.

There's a lot of misconception in the community, mostly because the game doesn't explain everything properly, because people don't bother reading the journals and digital artbooks for additional information, and because people also tend to just not pay attention. Like how people claim Kratos flipped nine realms when the game it happens in literally says the temple he flips isn't connected to the realms.

If Odin had killed Atreus there, you would have seen who was the balance of who, no character there is stronger than a full-strength Kratos, Kratos is holding himself, the game has said this many times already. By the way, Zeus> Odin

Speed and Endurance goes to heimdall. Heimdall on top of already being fast can also slow down time. And he fought kratos while he blew up his entire arm. Thats a bigger feat of Endurance than the other 3.

Heimdall stopped fighting after getting his arm blown up the only reason he continued is because he healed and saw that kratos was going to spare him if were going by that then baldur wins endurance because at the start of gow 4 kratos snaps his neck and he also heals and continues fighting later on in the story plus baldur can't feel anything and he is basically indestructible he survived a mountain being thrown on him and tossed with no effort. Also baldur was blitzing the battle field quicker than Heimdall.Though Heimdall does have better reaction time than him because of his foresight.

I believe its better to compare the boss fights instead of the bosses as a ton of people have done that already. IMO the best boss fight is Baldur and it ain't a competition. Anyone who played through both games will know none of the fights with the other gods had the same intensity as that last battle with Baldur

I feel like you're really underselling Thor. He was a way better fighter than Heimdall, who at first, only bonked with his sword and did more magic attacks, instead of actual combat, and after that was just crazily swinging, same with Baldur, he was just punching and stomping like a lunatic, Thor had actual thought and skill behind his fighting

Durability should baldur, odin, thor, then heimdall. Odin instantly recovered enough took a hit from kratos leviathon axe

I doubt heimdall getting weapons over Baldur. The hilt is just for show, and even he acknowledges he barely uses it. Heimdall relied too much on his agility and foresight. I woulda make them equal like with Odin and Thor. Also, Longfish (a lead artist in GoW:R) said Heimdall is the youngest Norse god, soo (But then, Heimdall was stated to have been a part of the Aesir-Vanir war, and Baldur was born after the truce was called which was after said war. Then again, Heimdall could just have participated in one of the other wars which could have occured after Freya was banished to Midgard.) Between Baldur and Heimdall, i would personally switch Combat and skills, if i am correctly guessing the defintions youre going by. Baldur appeared very skilled, he uses elbow strikes, knee strikes and even appears to be grappling (top tier suplexes btw). But Baldur has the habit of getting sloppy and reckless, meanwhile Heimdall seems far more balanced, agile and kinetic (with him always moving around and all that)

Heimdall gets speed since he can slow time for himself I would say. And he just like teleports all over. I say Odin 1st, Heimdall 2nd, Thor 3rd and then Baldur last
