Qstn.27 Ans.b Bcz ,if the subject begins with a great deal of, a good deal of,a lot of, plenty of, most of ,some of,the verb agrees with the noun that follows such phrase. And here Advice is the noun -singular, For singular noun verb agrees singular

This rule is better understand in these two sentence 1. Five thousand rupees is my salary. (Used as a one unit) 2. Five thousand rupees are spending for buying shoes, clothes, and stationary. (Used as different unit) I hope u understand.
