Thank you for uploading this song , I was searching for this only because the song in which I usually practice Pallavi isn't available everywhere 😁😁

Wow! You are a Master of Odissi ! Odissi means graceful movements; and you are an embodiment of graceful movements ! What a beauty! Unbelievable. I had an impression that among foreigners, Russian ladies are the best dancers in Odissi. Now I know that I was wrong. When I was studying yoga, long ago in 1990, I had a classmate from Austria, who could perform Bharathanatiyam dance. Austrians are amazing.

Thank you for your kind words of apreciation. I am receiving them with gratitude. But I do need to say that I am just a beginner student of Odissi, very far from mastery. I am blessed to have studied with great teachers. Yes, I know 2 very accomplished Austrian Bharatnatyam Dancers.

@@saraswatishaktimayi Oh, you are so humble, that is why you say that you are only a beginner. Even your little Indian disciple is an expert. I watched this video once again after reading your reply. I assert that you are Master class. Please upload a video with full odissi costumes. Let your fans enjoy your talents. Won't you? Thank you. Danke sehr.

Beautiful! Could you please share about where you've studied Odissi? I'm planning on coming to India to study this dance more deeply, could you recommend any school or teacher? Thank you.
@saraswatishaktimayi2 жыл бұрын
I have got the foundations from Srjan / Bhubaneswar, and also from Colleena Shakti. I have then continued to study with Rekha Tandon. In order to recommend a teacher it would be necessary to know more about your needs.... 🙏🌺

@@saraswatishaktimayi Thank you! I studied the basics of Odissi dance before, and now just want to go deeper with it making it my regular practice, I want to learn all of its forms eventually.

@@marinavaleree you can also learn from Sujata mohapatra or Daksha Mashruwala. They are world-acclaimed as well. Collena Shakti is good as well.
