This is a very enjoyable melody to listen to. The accuracy of his cornet playing is remarkable. I'm surprised that this outstanding performance of “Mikkel” by Ole Edvard Antonsen isn't played more often.

That first bit is sooo hard to do on the cornet. The accuracey of the mouth posture needed to hit those high notes let alone quitely🤯 then to flow enough air to resonate but little enough to have pianissimo

Ole, what mouthpiece do you use here?

I think for his Cornet work he actually uses a Bach 5B, normally his primary mouthpiece is a Bach 1 1/4C, read that a few years ago, don't count it as gospel!
