i paused the video, looks like the wires for the distributor to the cylinder is in the wrong order. cyl1 is plugged to 3, cyl2 is on 1, cyl3 is on 4 and cyl4 is on 2

@UCcFRp7h74TWflI2fHIzGRvQ clearly heard what he said. obd1 and obd2 distributor internals are the same. they dont fire differently just cause they swapped obd1 parts into obd2. only difference is the plug itself. the wire being backward is why its not firing in the correct order. they were swapping plug wires around, but did they ever get it in the correct order? looking at the distributor cap dead on, top left to right bottom left to right is , 3-4-1-2. they have it 1-3-2-4. they are hoping to use the del sol obd1 to "correctly time" the engine to solve their issue. but the current distributor works cause it did turn on, just in the wrong firing order.

Do you think that's really even a necessary expensive considering ehat they do? There's obviously value in a dyno in the automotive industry, but they arent really doing stuff that truly warrant a dyno this soon

When you can get a hub dyno it's pretty easy rather than a huge in or above ground if he's got the money I don't see why not but I do get what your saying for the resto builds it's not necessary if your building high horsepower then you need it

The exhaust manifold is definetely a big eye sore, stock manifold is fine but it needs a good ceramic coat or something. Everything else in there is just too damn clean lmao

I've been using FCP Euro for yrs now, with anything from Fcp you have to purchase the oil/brake pads whatever first then send back the old stuff and they credit you back.

Spray the exhaust mainfold with zink spray. There's atleast black and grey zink spray what i know of. That will make exhaust manifolds, turbo exhaust housings and so on look a bit nicer instead of rusty. And the great thing is that if it gets dirty when touching or so, just spray some over it and it looks brand new again. Cheap way of making it look nice if you dont want to coat it.

FCP's Lifetime Warranty is a cheat code. I use it for oil & plugs. Using PayPal also allows refund of return shipping cost too. So completely free oil & plug changes. I do 8k intervals for my tuned VII GTI. FCP makes it amazing to not have to pay other than the first initial purchase of said parts.

What I did to add a resonator was cut both flanges off a test pipe. Bought a resonator the same length as the cat. Welded on the flanges and a o2 bung so it looks like a regular catalytic converter when I go through emissions.

That hatch really needs a ASR subframe brace and OEM ITR swaybars. It's going to feel really great until you compare it up against that ITR and find it just feels like it's missing something. You should also slap the Integra front subframe crossbrace on it as well for more OEM+ upgrades, every DC2/DC4 subframe should have one, it's just 4 bolts that are already on the subframe in front of the rack.

Obd1 del sol with b16 does not use a crank shaft position sensor where the 99-00 si has a crankshaft position and uses the corresponding distributor to run correctly

can someone explain how fcp stays in business if everyone just buys oil/plugs/brakes etc 1 time and just keeps sending old shit back? especially if you pay with paypal and they are refunding or crediting you back, that really fucks up your standing with paypal last i checked..?

If you want to remove a sticker use a heat gun, then if it leaves residue, use zippo lighter fluid and it will make the adhesive gum up and you can wipe it up.

Tommy's content is the sickest on youtube I gotta say, and the powder coating... All you need now is an in-house tuner and dyno. But Tommy, idk or other viewers will agree with this but the new lenses tends to focus on let's say your finger, so when you were pointing the marks on the rotor, paint etc. it was hard to see since it only focuses on your finger. The older pense was better but that's my personal opinion. I remember you asking if we like the lense so I thought i might comment on it now that a few videos have come through the lense
