This video is an overnight test of my OEX Leviathan EV900 four season sleeping bag. As we are currently in lockdown again, I ended up having to do this test in a garden camp. Temperature was around 0 to -1 Celsius, with a reported "real feel" of -2 Celsius.

every review on YT about this sleeping bag has been positive , after watching your review I made the decision to buy one. I live in the Howgill fells in Cumbria and it gets seriously cold here so this bag should be great for me on my night bivvy adventures with my dog. The price was 143 from Go Outdoors .

When it comes to sleeping bags for winter use it is a good idea to test it close to home before venturing out in the wild, so in that sense lockdown was a good thing so you were able to check it out in the garden. Now you have an idea about how it will work on a trip so you can make adjustments and preparations before you go out. Having a cold sleeping bag is a nightmare....

Cheers Mark! The cook set is one of those cheap eBay specials. But had it a while and seems to be pretty robust. I've been saying for ages I'll get some of those neoprene lip protectors. I always scorch my lips on the cup 😁 Hope you are well!👍

Hi Mike. That isn't packed down. That's in its loose storeage net bag. It also has a compression sack. Apologies for not showin that, but it wasn't intended to be a full review. All the best👍

@@MikeGrenville Hope you enjoy it👍 Still pleased with mine. I'd say it packs down to roughly the same size as my Snugpak Softie Elite 2, so reasonably small. Nice to have the larger net storage bag so you can store it without it being compressed.

@@DesGreene it was mostly testing my 'summer' gear in more extreme temperatures. My sleeping bag goes to -7, but does it really? 😁 Nice to know cause in summertime it can go down quite low in the mountains as well. 😁 Have a great day! Kaat

Hi, you two! 😊 The sleeping pad is definitely of equal importance. I love to get my money's worth out of stuff though. So I'll probably look to get a better foam mat to use under my low-end Thermarest. Anyway, it's nearly Summer now isn't it? 😁

Cheers Anthony! I've got a Snugpak Softie Elite 2 that I use for Spring/Summer/early Autumn. Never done a review of it, but Snugpak do make nice bags and not crazy expensive. All the best!👍

Great sleeping bag but too narrow if you are above average width

Yes, I guess it might be a bit narrow across the shoulders for some. Some of the Snugpak range are better in that way, with an additional zipped panel so you can adjust the width. Many thanks for watching and sharing your own experience👍

Thanks for the review. Does the zip pull up from the bottom so I can stick my feet out if they get too hot. I'll not be using it for camping... Just indoors for sleepovers..thanks

Hi Darren. Yes, it does have a two way zip, so you can open it up at the bottom. It is a very warm sleeping bag though. Personally I would go for a 2 to 3 season bag for indoors, unless your sleepovers are somewhere really cold! 👍😁

Hi Aggy. That's just a net storeage bag, as you don't want to store a down bag too tightly compressed. It does have a compression sack and packs down quite small for a 4 season bag. Cheers for watching!👍
