I had the best time in Downtown Columbus! I was in town for a concert at Kemba Live and we ended up walking home after the concert! Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel is located right off the highway right in between German Town and Ohio State University's Campus. It makes for the perfect location for a weekend in Columbus, Ohio!

That hotel was built in 1963! I worked the front desk when it was the Sheraton in the early 1980's while @ Ohio State. It was owned by a coal mine owner and the owner of the Kahiki restaurant. It appears the doors on the rooms and toilets are the same. Also, I noticed the rooms need renovated. The furniture was all scuffed up and the bedding was tired. What hotel still uses dirty comforters on the bed? The new Hilton at the convention center or the Residence Inn on Gay Street or the Drury Hotel are much better choices in downtown Cbus . At least the Residence Inn and Drury offer free breakfast.

Awesome video!! Love Columbus. Such a beautiful city. Always going for work. I stay downtown a lot it’s such a underrated downtown. Just wish they had a light rail or better transportation . Also it’s German village not German town (:
